Linking pics stopped working

This is a continuing issue for me too, and it's a bit mind-boggling because I'll upload five pictures to the same hosting site, copy the links over altogether, and two of the five will be red Xs, but when I go into Edit Post, they'll be visible.
 
Has something to do with the thread loading time ... when I link to 1200 pixel wide pics everything is fine, when I use >= 1600 pixel wide the X sometimes shows up.
 
Seeing a lot more red X’s on the forum the last few days. No issues on my own recent posts, but the old examples I’ve mentioned before in this thread were as bad or worse. I did find in those old posts that some of the Imgur links were http: rather than https:. If I go in an add the s (which seems to be the standard for links copied from Imgur now), the pics show up again. Not sure that pertains to the issues others are having with new/current images, there’s obviously something that still needs to be resolved.
 
I'm having 50/50 luck. I just posted today with two IMGBB links, and one is a red X. You can still see it by clicking the X to follow the link, so a partial workaround is to always use the linkable BBcode embed option when linking from IMGBB.

I am experiencing the same problem. All my previous posts using a postimage link are not displaying an image. I now see a box with a red X in it.
