In my case I think it's bizarre hours and lack of sleep that turns me into an asshole. Again my apologies. I was out of line and shouldn't have said that.

It's all good, but we are seeing the same stress on our forum. One reason I do not like this time of year is not only does it bring out the best on people, it also seems to bring out the worst sometimes. People get edgy for some reason. I'm always glad to see the New Year come. Appreciate all of you.
 
Its cool BP, I was just a bit taken aback when you attacked me out of no where when I thought I was agreeing with you guys lol. I was thinking sheesh if this is what happens when you agree with them, what would have happened if I discredited him? lol. Anyway I apologize also regarding my first posts, I should have been more clear as to the accreditation, and such. It was never meant to discredit anyones thoughts or place one persons above anothers, because as I said no one can have the "true" answer except gianni and his crew who designed this lock for XX purpose. It was just that your first post was posed as a question, and your second post along with Mr.Randall, at least to me, seemed to have your thoughts/opinions/reason behind it, which I agreed to.

And yea Jeff I agree [weird calling other people jeff, when your own name is jeff lol, almost like talking in third person], the holidays do bring out the best and worst in people. Just watch the news and you will get both; donations, people helping others, and super soccer moms trampling over people in order to get the baddest, latest, and coolest gadgets, with all the best intentions of getting their children what they want for Christmas.

Side note, which is why I love snow, it "chills people out" and slows everything down, lets people take some perspective.

All is well. The internet was specifically made so we can all raise hell with each other for no good reason except we can type. A CB radio with a keyboard.
 
I'm glad this all got sorted out and kudos to Tomso, Gianni and Jeff for providing conclusive and concise information.

I read this entire thread not because I'm interested in buying the HEST fixed blade or folder, but in order to see how the people involved in creating those knives comport themselves.

This thread was very helpful in that regard.

Bladeforums is an invaluable resource.
