Yep, I've got to have a couple of these... I'm in on carbon fiber and ram's horn. Having M390 an titanium in a traditional is going to be very neat IMHO. I hope Mike does other patterns in the future.

Another great thread..... I'll have the cocobolo and the ram's horn. Sure hope it's the same horn they've been using in past knives. Beautiful color..... awesome knife Mike.....

In for the cocobolo. Had to go traditional wood on a traditional.
Course, with the Ti, and M390, I was kinda leaning towards the CF.

Can I still participate (from Italy) carbon fiber or any other handle materials?

Not unless you find a proxy within the U.S. .
Collectorknives do not ship internationally.

I tried to change my carbon fiber to Stag, and now it says I have reserved both...So I could proxy a carbon fiber for you. We'll have to work out shipping, last time I sent a priority package to Europe I think it was about $25.

That's cool of you. Funny the amount of time and shipping this particular knife is going to take to end up right back in Italy...

Ok, reply received.

He will be poking his head back in here to make contact. So chip, I would expect an email within the next day or so.

didnt read through every page of the thread, but I just wanted to comment how awesome it is to include an internal stop pin to prevent blade rap. Kudos Mike!

I'm in for cocobolo. But I'm SUPER EXCITED to hand-craft some other covers for it.

I've reserved a Ram's Horn. I'm very curious to see how that material turns out. But I think it was the modern / hybrid thought that really drew me in. I'm just fresh to traditional folders and 1095 (got my first GEC today!) and am intrigued by how M390 fits in the equation. I have an M390 mini grip that is a fabulous tool. Hopefully it's the best of both worlds.

I was contacted by cesma, thanks Bill. I don't speak Italian, but Google translate seemed to work pretty well. I think I explained the situation pretty well...Knives will be available in May, total with shipping to Italy and PayPal fees will be about $150 which he can pay when they're available.

Every conversation that I had with him was in English, and fairly well spoken English at that.
Could possibly be that my email app (phone) auto-converts the languages?

Thanks Chip.
I hope you end up with a Really spectacular set of slabs on Your individual knife as a karmic reward.
