The "Sure" reservations that picked one up before 3:30PM Central today get a free custom slip made just for these knives. Didn't have enough for every knife, so cut it off at that.
So are there any left you might put up and list for purchase then? I missed changing my reserve to a "sure" by a few hours would consider picking up a slip if was specific for this knife. The "Sure" reservations that picked one up before 3:30PM Central today get a free custom slip made just for these knives. If you use G10 liners, you can epoxy on tip bolsters.I have some micarta, ebony wood and osage all ready to go on some custom covers. TBH i'm more interested in removing the titanium bolsters altogether.
One of the main bonuses would be to keep keys and coins away from the knife without using a dedicated pocket or standing the knife upright next to your wallet.I got my "maybe" email for the stag but looked at them all for putting my order through. Does look like no slip case unless you add it or at least for those who didn't say "Sure". I passed on the slip though not sure how much good a slip would do if it doesn't clip or attach to something in some way.
NO SLIP FOR YOU!!![]()
The Santos look incredible, Mike! They look at least as good as the Coco proto.
For me 98% of the time the only thing in the pocket my knife would be in is my leather wallet. One of the main bonuses would be to keep keys and coins away from the knife without using a dedicated pocket or standing the knife upright next to your wallet.
The abalone does look fantastic the big put off for me was the price.I thought the CF would be best for the same reason, but I think the abalone is a sleeper. I initially thought of it as the opposite; that abalone, as an uber-traditional and ornate cover material, would not jive with the modern look/construction/materials of this particular barlow. But I actually think it's the best looking of the bunch!
