LIONSTEEL CAPLIFTER BARLOW

Mine sat at my local Post Office from 4 am on on Saturday, so they should be good to go to deliver Monday.

Hey, stupid (hopefully) question: the caplifter is M390 too, right?

Here's a screenshot of the specs on LionSteel's website
*Edited to add: these are the specs for the jack, but seems reasonable to assume the caplifter would also be m390 on the Beerlow

I've been receiving USPS packages on Sundays for almost a year now. I even got one on July 4th. A Sunday and a Federal Holiday. Keep an eye on your mailbox today.

EDIT: Sorry. It was Monday, May 31st. Memorial Day. Not July 4th.

Thanks! Taking another read through the Beerlow product description it is called out as two blade, spear/ caplifter, which makes me think the caplifter is of the stated blade steel.

They will definitely deliver Amazon packages on Sunday around here, we are expecting something from them today. Never had a knife delivered on Sunday, and the tracking has no indication that that will be the case.

i got mine, horn handles are great, consistent color and thickness, reminds me a little of wood grain. Centering on main blade is just a touch off center but that’s straying into the realm of nit-picky. For some reason I thought the Lionsteel had an integrated bolster and liner like viper but not the case. It’s a little thicker than a GEC beerscout, all in all cool knife.

Got mine! It is really nice! It looks like a traditional but w&t, fit, finish, and feels in hand like a modern knife. Well done.

I received my two Beerlows today - one in horn and the other in Stag. I love them both, exceptional examples that I’m very happy to add to the collection.

These are beefy knives but they do feel good in hand and the F&F, W&T, and such is all fantastic and continues to exemplify the standard that I’ve come to expect out of Italy.

Now to choose which one to carry first….

Well done, Mike! And a superb job by LionSteel.

Pretty much the same size as a TL-29, with a bottle opener.
My TL blade has been reduced a bit over the years, first time to keep the blade from striking the back spring, and a lot of sharpenings over 35 years.
The Beerlow will have it's place though.
Well constructed and it does have some charm, nice bit of figuring on the ebony.

Looong day at work yesterday, and knife overload in the mailbox, so just getting around to posting now. Already have a few Lionsteel barlows, so not much in the way of surprises. The biggest being how much I like spear blade on here, I had been daydreaming about swapping a clip blade, but I have to admit, Mike was right.

That ram’s horn is cool!

How are the springs on these? I haven't owned any of the more recent run Lionsteel Barlows, but I had a Roundhead and a Shuffler from the first two runs and wished they'd had heavier springs.

Mine is about a 5 which is perfect for me.
