LionSteel Shuffler

I'm not personally interested in the fancy blade models (M390 is perfect) but I will throw all my money at you for multi bladed models. The wharnie trapper is my favorite traditional pattern and to be able to get something similar in M390 at a reasonable price with lionsteel's build quality is a friggin dream.

The edge has not been thinned since the first run of the Shuffler. The two slight modifications were applied to all models after the original run of the Roundhead. No general changes have been made to any variation except the Roundhead, and no changes since the second release.

The pull on my Dom feels heavier than the pull on my 1st production shuffler, so that is just a coincidence and not an update?

A shorter coping blade would be handier at least for me
Not often I need a secondary blade as long as the main
That plus for whittling a shorter blade works better

Is that really 390 damascus or just a surface treatment?

Can you please show how thick or thin the prototype 2 blade is compared to a single blade?

Please no caplifter, unless its some cool combo caplifter/sharpened blade/screw driver/arrow straightener.

Mike for the next run shift that blade etch down and extend the long pull to the tang like you did on the Sheepfoot Doms

I've wondered (but haven't thought to ask until now) why the long pull is different on the Dom. I like the longer long pull of the Dom, but it is absent from the Roundhead and Shuffler. Any particular reason for the variation?

Just my preference.

The only designed changes were after the first run, which was a Roundhead - none since. We slightly increased the spring strength; slimmed the blade BTE a smidge; and lengthened the choil a bit.

There are many things about the images not correct / final. Some blades are not swedged - all would be swedged. Those with anodized bolsters will have anodized liners as well. The damascus will be Damasteel Super Dance. The M390 shows because it was a quick photoshop for me to envision product.

The two blade is very thick. It is two slabs and two liners like the others; but both blades are full size and full thickness.

Did you do any visual models for the Roundhead and Shuffler with longer pulls like the Dom? I'd love to see what that would look like if possible.

No, sorry. We moved the pull around a lot on the OTNAT - but not the CK01 series.

I think it will be a winner

How does it compare in thickness and weight to your full size 2 bladed 77 Barlow? That one is a bit of a pocket hog too.

Any more pictures you could share of the prototype?

I must like the Shufflers don't change a thing. :D

The edge has not been thinned since the first run of the Shuffler.

Confirmed with a digital caliper. My new Shuffler’s edge is within a thousandth of an inch of the my old one.

The bone micarta is nice, but maybe a bit too smooth for my taste. The lack of grain makes it look a bit too much like plastic. Paper micarta I suspect? I will say that the Torx screw recesses on my new Shuffler look MUCH cleaner than my old one.

They do make a nice pair.

The proportions of the main to the coping on this was pretty good, well, I had reprofiled the spearpoint into a clip point but other than that...
Probably should have hung onto her but, things have a way of moving on,

But I figure it'll be what ever they can do and that I'm sure will sell like hot cakes to...

Wow. Lionsteel really polished that micarta. I can hardly see the weave on mine without a magnifier.
