Lock fail pics (graphic)

That looks like a pretty good one! Finger tip ones suck.
Ya tip finger cuts have to keep stitches in one of longest places on the body in my experience. Heals well though, I pulled them out sun before last.

Stupid cut is the least of my problem right now. I have a small fracture on my L3 putting extra pressure on my spinal cord and screwing with my nervous system causing some nasty issues that has me stuck to the couch for a while. Too young to have back problems hope it heals soon! People may noticed I been posted around the clock lately because I can't sleep and bored as shit.

She managed to fillet the side of her thumb for about an inch. Got her sitting down with her hand held above her head, glued it up then caught her when she fainted and slid out of the chair:). Healed up pretty nicely, I'll see if I can get a pic of the scar.

Good times;)

Super glue repair. Also an advocate for super glue, been using it for 20 years. This was not a lock fail but slipped putting a ranger band on a new fixed blade.

They are the dissolvable ones that go under the skin; if I recall correctly they are preferred cosmetically especially on a clean cut. If I’m correct, it’s internal to stitch below the surface and surgical glue to patch the top layers together.

Yep, what he said. Had 14 internal and 12 external myself (work accident). They do dissolve under your skin. Op, not too bad of a cut. I bet it bled more than hurt. My last deep/nasty cut was with Russian mil shovel, made by CS(outdoors accident, alcohol involved). I stopped bleeding by applying pressure, cleaning with vodka(burnt like a mother.... but did not have anything else) and putting a lot of ice. Never went to er. In two weeks had nice little scar.

My wife did the same thing preparing food once at our campsite at the Grand Canyon. Drove her to local emergency room for stitches.
On a camp site in France, my wife dropped a very pointy kitchen knife onto her foot and didn’t realise it had cut her, nor that it penetrated her toe to the bone! I had cooked a tomato based pasta sauce, and she kept wiping the ‘sauce’ from her foot. Then we realised... :D

I sorted it out, and literally had to wring her flip-flop out as it was soaked in blood like a sponge. We were both laughing at the time, she is a very good sport! :)
