it depends how big is Your hand.... If K2's handle is like the one in Military mode it would be very good for my hand

I just received my K2 in the mail today and it's everything I expected. I do have a question for those who have had theirs for a while or anyone who has experience with 10v however, has anyone experienced any patina with this steel? I know it's not stainless but it seems very stain resistant.
Thanks, that's the impression I got from cutting some veggies with it today.it more stain resistant than people think.
None of my A11 blades have any sort of staining.
As promised, I am reporting what I feel about the K2 after I receive it.
What's good: the grind work is very well done; the blade shape is very attractive; for such a big knife it is very light; although I did not cut anything with it, there is no doubt it is an excellent slicer with the FFG plus the thin blade.
What's bad: the lock is VERY sticky such that both hands are needed to disengage the blade; the blade is significantly off centered when closed; the handle is very uncomfortable. The first two things are among the worst of the 30 some folders that I have (~10 of them are frame lock, including cheapies like Kershaw Thermite). I am not confident at all that break-in will help much with the sticky lock. Granted the handle shape has some similarity to Military's, but the width contributes adversely to the discomfort. I think the knife would be much better if the width (both the handle and the blade) is reduced by half inch, but then it would be too similar to the ti millie (except the blade shape). Also, for such a big knife, I actually feel both the blade and the handle are a bit too thin. With the knife in my hand, I was not exactly sure what tasks it is better designed for.
With that being said, those with big hands and good luck may find the k2 an excellent choice.
