Love for the Rift

lets make a list and have people sign it and send it in to Benchmade for m390 rift
 
Just grabbed a HK mini entourage auto to use as my EDC. May have to grab one of these now to throw into the roatation.
 
I would be in also. But until that happens does anyone know a TI deep carry clip that will fit the rift?

If you don't want to spend the money and just want a deep carry clip, you can call/email Benchmade and ask or a Contego clip.
 
Spending a little doesn't bother me but I will see if I can get one with my replacement scale screws.
 
The Rift is one of my nicest knives I have ever owned. I like the size of the scales, shape of the blade, just about everything.

I have finally finished liner jimping. Please forgive me for poor black primer job I have done after cutting notches to the liner.

underside view I have made jimping for index finger and pinky finger. It also provides traction with reverse grip as well.

Since this Rift has a better grip, I have rounded off the edge of handle so that it is more comfortable barehanded grip.

I have been preaching about the Rift since I got one a month or two after they were released. They are great knives, the perfect length for me, strong tip, thin blade that cuts great. And I have also been wanting one in M390 since Benchmade started using it. I have even tried to have a custom blade made but can't find anyone to do it.

I have more Rift than I care to admit and would probably buy 6 of them in M390. I have both M4 versions but want something that holds an edge better. I like steel more in the S90V edge holding range. And I would love to have something with a custom heat treat which big manufactuers can't come close to.

Sign me up for the M390 Rift. Or 6.
 
Got bored today and decided to put a mirror finish on it

Now I just need to drill out the stripped screws.

Has anyone replace the spacers/standoffs?

Here is my Rift. I like it better after adding some jimping, I now need to get the action smoother. I can't feel any love for this knife other than the blade shape. Mine has much blade wobble, it's stiff, the scales are sharp. I got to get to work on this one to make it more for me.
