Yes, Sal confirmed that in one of the threads. Not sure how the production run is going. SMKW had the first ones that I know of, but that was a third-hand report several weeks ago. Not sure how many BladeHQ has now, and GPKnives and BladeOps are also reported to have them. I wasn't sure if they completed the entire run and sent them to dealers all at once or if they're going to trickle in a dozen at a time or what.
 
Better grab these Darn Dao before the year is out because on January 1, 2018 the MAP or street price will be $422.47 instead of the current $389.97!

BladeHQ has 3 left and GP Knives 5. That could be the last for them until next year. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if the likes of KnifeWorks and KnifeCenter started getting their’s soon.

I don't suppose I could sell you a used wedding band?! o_O I know you think you have no use for one now (which is the reason I think you might want to buy it), but it will help to fend off all those women who come knockin' once they find out you have TWO Darn Dao knives. ok......just wow. i got mine.

i complained on the pricing point early on in this thread but i was wrong to complain. this knife is over the top great. i get it now. if ya didnt get one dont wait. its that great. ill add pics later......

Ugh, mine won't arrive till Tuesday... Curse of the regular slow shipping coming out of Utah and the Christmas shipping explosion... Where did you order from, and how long did it take?

bladehq as i got the heads up from ya here on who had it first or almost first. i ordered that night you posted who had 'em. got lucky i guess. normally utah takes forever to get to my swamp.

edit part...so ordered monday night. came friday, was at work so missed it being signature confirmed. went to post office today and got it.

How's the balance in hand? I mean, I know it'll be perfect, but I just placed an order and am already impatient.

The quality on the last Flash Batch was so darn exceptional that I had to get this one. I don't have much use for a knife like this, but Spyderco is my favorite production brand and I want to encourage them to keep making these one-off runs.

I was going to buy one new fixed blade this year and it came down to a Rustic Bravo(Lon Humphrey's take on a BRKT Bravo 1). I had figured I wouldn't even get a shot at picking up one of these....I clicked on this thread to just look at people's pictures of them.
