looking great all, i have to pull out of this contest, i have been going through some serious health issues, nothing physical, but have had to spend good bit of time in hospital lately, and im just not in the mind set to finish mine at the moment.

Okay.... the big-assed machete is out.... I'm entering one of my Mini-Parangs... stretched out to a 12" blade for the contest...

I'm also passing up the Axe Handle grip for my hemp wrap style.... You gotta feel it to believe it.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who tapes graph paper to each other for long junk
 
I need to back out of this one. My 9-5 has been more like 7-7 lately and I haven't been able to get any shop time in since January. Good luck to all the noobs in it. I'm pulling for you guys.

I didn't sign up for this competition because I had too many orders to catch up on.....but now with the deadline getting pushed back I got this one done this week:

Steel is 1080 and the handle is purple heartwood.
