Madison Barlow Give Away. ***Winner***

I'm in and thanks. But more importantly, It eludes me how hard it is to find a nice, well-made Easy-open swell-end jack (i.e., 85). Obviously I'm not alone.

I'd love to see it in ebony and a nice chestnut jigged bone. :)

Just can't miss out on a chance for one of these. Thanks, Derrick.

I think a large (5 1/4") Arkansas Hunter pattern would fit nicely winthin a Northwoods theme.

I'll also second the idea of a Northwoods Gunstock.

Please count me in and thanks for the opportunity! I just first want to say that you have done an amazing job with the Northwoods line and it has transformed my knife collection in the last few years prompting considerable culling to add the 20+ Northwoods I am proud to own.

Most of my wishes have already been stated with the 85 EO caplifter, Fremont Whittler and 62 makeover. I have one of the 79 Montana Whittlers and really like it. Another variation I would like to see is the 79 frame with the primary wharnie on 2 springs and secondary punch blade and caplifter on the other end. That might be my dream EDC right there.

I would also echo the sentiments for another run of the Burnside Jack but with a Wharncliffe blade option. I have a Northfield Houndstooth single blade wharnie and it is one of my favorites that would be ideal for a Northwoods Burnside version.

In please!! I'd love to see another run of Northwoods Freemont Jacks in light bone/ivory. Or bring back blue and red would be cool!!!!

I love that swedged spey/spear idea, onespdfrk. :D

OK, so here's a more clear graphic of what a Northwoods Fremont Whittler would look like!

From my own whittlin' experience, I think I would prefer a swedged spear & (kind of modified) spey for the secondaries. The spey could be a sheepsfoot, but I think this variation would tickle me the most.

Comments & suggestions are appreciated!

I would love to see an easy open #85 or a larger version(maybe 3.75") of the Norfolk with gabon ebony scales.

Awesome give away sir.

1st would be a surveyor pattern. Use the 81 frame with clip main and a stockman size sheepsfoot secondary on one spring

I would love to see a mini fremont on the 26 frame. Or even on the pemberton frame with a lanyard hole so I can pit it on my keychain.

I'd love to see a Burnside Jack run with blade from the Fremont. Or how about a lockback version of the Madison? More red micarta please.
Thanks for doing this!

Awesome GAW Derrick. I'm in!
I'd love to see another run of the Northwoods Gladiator.
Photo shamelessly "borrowed" via Google :p

Awesome - I love this! The voids in the blade look amazing. Get this going in all sorts of different covers (mammoth, camel bone, ebony, stag, etc.) and replace the spear-point with your fantastic modified sheepfoot (with full half-stops for both) and I'd buy you out myself! :)

Derrick,
thank you for your contribution and generosity. I'll play the game, but this is not an entry.
I think the Schrade 93OT pattern could find a place in the Northwoods line (on GEC's #66 frame, with the turkish clip of the calf roper slim and the sheepsfoot of the stockman - without crinking them of course).

I will second that.

Thanks for the opportunity! I would like to see a smaller version of the Madison Barlow. I love the design.

Derrick, I am in and thank you for the opportunity to own one of these fine knives.
I would like to see a Northwoods Copperhead. A full size model such as the one that Queen markets, also a single blade.
Some nice Ebony or African Blackwood, and some Sambar Stag also would be nice.
Thanks and have a great Shot Show!

I'm seeing lots of requests for a Bullet EO pattern. That could really work.

Here's a couple mockups with & without the caplifter. I'll vote for one of these, but ONLY if it has a lanyard hole!!!! :D :D :D

I also really like the scout patterns (if it has a bail!!). Don't know if I want to draw that one though - I'm not sure how to put a "Northwoods Style" on it and make it look good.

A nice single blade Doctors knife would be cool.
Also a NW Easy open bullet w/ cap lifter would sell like crazy. :)

Spear point Sod Buster with wood handles would look really neat!

Thank you for the great contest. I would love to see a Northwoods jackknife based on the 09 Esquire frame. Clip and pen blade.
