  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

make your choice ! survival folder...

In keeping with what I see as the true spirit of the OP's question, my choice for a single blade folder would be my plain edge, FRN handled, Byrd Cara Cara. Very light, plenty of blade, sturdy, takes and holds an edge nicely. It also responds very well to stropping.

If I interpret the question as one folder, with no blade limits then I grab my Leatherman Wave without a second thought.

No question, Extrema Ratio RAO. I'd love to have one, but I aint got the cheddar or the sand.

That is, of course, if i was forced to choose one folder to have and no fixed blade, just the ope folder by itself as my only knife.

OK

I'm missing the sheet metal guard
I was thinking of trying to make a leather "guard"/sheath
First I have to learn to work with leather though :(

I'm pretty sure the handle is Micarta
