Glad to see this one back. Man - I need this whole series of videos burned to disk - highly entertaining. Every knifemaking vid should have a guitar solo by the maker. :) Sheath looks good so far - you were obviously taking notes during Chris's presentation. Scales look good, too.

So do you charge extra for the mouse poop etch?

LOl @ the guitar part. I can't think of how many times I've done just that. Couldn't resist the inspiration...lol. Youre very talented btw. Guitars, sheaths and knives.
 
I'm not sure what's more upsetting, the condition of your shop (again!), or the fact that I recognized almost every single song in this video. Without a doubt this has got to be the first time White Zombie and M.O.P. shared the same playlist.

Awesome vid, bro - you've got mad skillz. Next time, lie to me and tell me the shop is still clean and free of mice, though.

What tubes are you running in that Fender?

Yeah the R65 is still there right next to my Triumph Thruxton and my little 250cc dirtbike :)

Matt, I'm playing through some commie (Sovtek) tubes. Those commies sure know how to create a vacuum ;) Ha! Now how about the Chopin / Foo fighters combo? Or the Doc Watson / Pharcyde combo? Would be fun to get them all in a studio together for a jam session....

Thanks again for the kind words guys. Was back at it last night polishing the blade and hope to get this project wrapped up soon.
 
Finishing the polish (a little blood helps bring out the hamon), pinning the handle, and finally sharpening the blade...

Next up will be the finishing of the sheath. Should have that clip done and posted in another day or two.
 
A good maker should bleed for his creations. :)

This has been one of the best knifemaking video series that I have had the pleasure of watching. My daughter has watched along for all the episodes - her favorite parts are the secret ingredients and the guitar solo.

The knife looks pretty darned good to me. Looking forward to the pics.
