3Guardsmen, If I remember correctly, you were one of the people calling Strider owners chumps and mall ninjas...
I never called Strider owners or you anything. I said I felt the knives were overpriced, mall ninja, chump knives. I included other brands of knives in that category as well. I also stated I have owned, and since sold, a Strider knife.
To be fair, I said someone that does not like them, can't justify the cost or just can't afford them. And, that only came after pages and pages of stupid remarks towards owners of certain brand knives. Really childish stuff!
Well, this is a knife forum, and people are passionate about knives. There are bound to be things said that we disagree with.
Unfortunately that's a somewhat true remark. Maybe not so much with knives, but cars and homes for example. You'll often hear someone refer to another that owns nice things as "wasteful" or "what the hell does he need that for", etc. When, in all reality, they'd own the same things if they could.
I'm sure there are people like that, but they too have a right to post their opinions. Perhaps, after getting to purchase whatever it is they're 'hating on,' they'll change their tune. If not, who cares? I may own a knife you might think is an underpriced, mall ninja, chump knife, and if that's the case, I wouldn't mind you saying so. Opinions vary, as do people's reactions to those opinions.
Or, when some guy sees a really pretty girl, then sees her boyfriend or husband. Very often, that guy will make some stupid comment to his friends about the "fag" that girl is with or at least put the guy down in some way.
I'm the opposite. If I see a guy with a really hot chick, I assume he's a stud and has game. Unfortunately, there are guys out there who think their ladies are a lot hotter than they are, or a lot hotter than other guys do, and such is the case, in my opinion, with Strider knives. I think they're overpriced, mall ninja, chump knives.
