To be completely honest, I have never even seen a paramilitary 2 in person. Blasphemy, right?
That said, I carry my manix 2 xl everyday. It was my first spyderco. Now I have 3. It is still my favorite general use spyderco. Took a whole lot of opening and closing to loosen up (probably around 400 cycles) but now butter is jealous of how smooth it is. (been waiting to use that one for a while.)
I say manix 2. Or manix 2 xl. I can disengage the lock and without a wrist flick the blade falls. With a small one, it snaps open.
