Massdrop exclusive Spyderco Delica

while i liked the look of the blade (I believe I am in the minority here) the $170 price was a LOT to spend on something I'd set on a shelf and occasionally look at.

I still have two PM2s (regular issues, nothing limited) and I can't get myself to use them. I don't need another knife just sitting in a box.
 
The problem wasn't so much about changing the price of the drop from $200 to $170 mid-stream although that's a factor.

The real problem is that Spyderco G-10 folders from Japan are over-priced.

You can get a Delica ZDP-189 FRN for just $95.97.

A Stretch ZDP FRN is $119.97 whereas the ZDP G-10 is $209.97!

Yep. I've always looked at the G-10 Stretch and thought, "no way".
 
If they had offered it in Hap40 without the decorative blade markings , they would have sold out in hours .
