It is such a great deal for what you’re getting! You might as well have two of them for the price an equal knife would command elsewhere. I’m definitely holding on to both of mine, I don’t think I could be without either of them.

Yup, you are right. I recognize it's value after using one for a few weeks now. My intention was to assemble a user's best trio of the Laconico Keen, Shirogorov F3 and a CRK Impinda. Well, I guess I'll have at least one backup now. :thumbsup:
 
Now it says 23 hours left. I guess they are continuing to extend it incrementally?
 
Thanks. It prompted me to move on a second today. That may be the method to their madness.

I think it's just a very rough estimate based on current supply and demand up to that point. I recall the Gent showing something like 8 hours left for at least a week when they only had the green handle scale versions left.
 
I just picked a plain purple one up. Appears to be a quality blade for the price. I am still waiting for a confirmation email.
 
This impulse buy aside, I am making progress in my acquisition plan. I won an eBay auction today for a 1960s vintage Hackman Tapio Wirkkala Puukko. Yay!

The rest should be secured by summertime with custom orders and various wait lists. :rolleyes:
 
Had a liiiittttttlllleeee bit of grit in my gray Keen, so I decided to pop it open to take a look.

Somewhere along the way, something had gotten between one of the stop pins and the track, causing drag here...

I took a hard look at it, and am happy to report that the machining of the pins, track, and everything else is perfect. This appears to have been an outside element that got in during assembly.

As expected, it went back together beautifully. Here is the post service centering and action check:


Aaahhhhhhhh. So nice. Not even a hint of play.

For in-stock items, the site resets the drop every day.
