Massdrop Terzuola

Idk. The Three Rivers Manufacturing Terzuola looks on another level than this

Yeah Idk either. To me a classic Terzuola knife is a atcf, starfigher, ttf3, ttf6 even the eagle rock all with with linerlocks and with plain g10 or micarta scales.

Very minimalist and perfectly executed.

Many of those design elements are incorporated into this release.

Also fixed blades, I found out about Terzuola because of his fixed blade designs before folders.

He sure made some sweet fixed blades. That Gryphon knives Terzuola is just a sexy knife like an Aston Martin is just a sexy car

I just received an un-requested refund from massdrop to my pp account.

It’s like maybe they are just refunding everyone $20 which I think is nice.

I too got an automatic $20 refund. No need to email them.

Mr. Terzuola also posted a video on his IG that he is pleased with the way the knife came out.

So I got the OD green scales because I thought it looked great with the polished bronze hardware. Got my knife today and I'm pretty disappointed. The whole thing just looks kinda dull. I asked Massdrop for a refund and they sent me $20

Is there no way to get a full refund? My first drop...

He says he wanted the tumbled finish on the hardware. It makes sense to me, I’m a bit surprised by how many people don’t like it.

MD should have emphasized this fact in the beginning however.

I’m in Australia and I’m not expecting my black CTF for at least another week.

I chose black because the bright bronze hardware really popped and looked good.

But considering the design elements of a typical Terzuola knife, the tumbled finish makes more sense.

In a way, I’m disappointed in the looks of not having the bright bronze but I’m glad it has the tumbled finish for practicality.
Saying that, massdrop should of informed us of the change during production, not at the last minute just after shipping. But I’m happy with the $20 refund.

Sorry, I shoulda ended with /sarcasm

You’ll have to excuse me. I thought for a moment I was in the MD discussion thread where those kind of hysterics are genuine emotions!

Not real impressed with mine. Not very sharp out of the box, scales got to many sharp edges, blade has a scratch on it. Detent is a little weak and action is so-so. If I keep it I will have to break all the edges on the scales, don't care for the jimping on the lockbar. On the plus side blade is perfectly centered, jimping on the spine of the blade is a nice touch as is the fuller.

after having a weekend with it I am VERY pleased! I did not feel the factory scale was sharp or had any hotspots....but I'll be swapping them out anyways:-) Its a very upgradeable platform...scales are simple to replicate. I was pleased to find that the lockface of the Ti liner was carbidized! This means it should not have any lock-stick issues down the road. I found the action to be just fine with a suitable detent....its no ZT, but it flips fine. Personally I like the tumbled hardware and think it will help mask signs of use.....yers this will definitely be a user. I wish it wasn't S35....but cant complain for the price (especially with the $20 refund that was issued).

Please post some photos of the CF scales once done! I'd probably be willing to buy some if you make more.

Although, this knife just screams for some micarta IMHO.

Micarta would be really nice on this knife. The edges of the G10 were way too sharp on mine, but I fixed that with some fine sandpaper.
