Massdrop Terzuola

The problems were:

-sending the wrong image to We Knives.

-Poor communication and lying about the screw up.

-changing the hardware from the prototype and then denying that it was changed.

Whether the finished product is acceptable or not is not really relevant. They lied to their customers and failed to deliver the promised product as advertised.

Just got mine in and I’m glad I went with a black one.

It’s a shame about the logo but overall I’m please. I still think this is the best representation of a Terzuola tactical folder to date by a production company.

For those that have owned or handled Terzoulas, they feel like beefed up gentleman’s Knives. Even the plain ones are refined. WE kind of hit that note with this release and I’m happy. I think this maybe a keeper and that would be rare for me with folders.

The action is smooth but not loose, the lock up has no stick and it’s perfect. The blade is nicely ground with even bevels and an even plunge line. The flipper tab has just the right amount of jimping.

Very nice.

How is the detent?

Not happy with the changes but glad the knife reviews are positive. I got a $20.00 credit from MD which helps but means I got to spend more money to use it. I guess I can always buy some socks from them they can't screw those up can they....

The detent is good for flipping or flicking the blade open, but not strong enough to keep the blade from swinging open if you are trying to swing it open like a “gravity knife”.

My only real complaint functionality wise is the liner lock pinches off my thumb skin pretty much every time I press it.

How did you get the $20 credit? Did everyone in the drop receive this?

I agree this is also my only negative I can find with functionality. They should have made the cutout a few hairs deeper

Mine came today. Green scales so the hardware is not an issue to me. Operation is excellent except the sharpness of the inner face of the linerlock. The lack of the Terzuola name is troubling especially when MD concocted a BS explanation rather than coming clean right away. I’d also like to know how to get the $20.00 refund.

Send them an email

Mine showed up. I shot it under bright studio lighting at the angle that made the hardware shiniest here (in real life the hardware looks almost black, actually):

I posted this in the massdrop discussion, but I'm convinced the top one is actually silver satin hardware that has been photoshopped bronze. Jonas from massdrop posted an instagram video of the prototype back a few months ago and the hardware was all satin silver. They probably took pictures of that one and photoshopped it bronze.

Idk. The Three Rivers Manufacturing Terzuola looks on another level than this

So you have to send them an email for the $20 credit? Shouldn't everyone in the drop get this without asking?
Yes, and they should have sent knives that were like the prototype photos that we paid for when we ordered over 5 months ago!! Go figure!
