Maxpedition Bottle holder kit, review and pics

I would be very interested in knowing if a Bush Buddy stove will fit in the 12x5 along with the 38oz Guyot. I have been wanting to build a new kit around those two items. :)
 
I put mine together... Still need 1-2 things, but for the most part, it's finished. Will snap some pics.
 
Just a friendly word to those of you considering the 12X5 bottle holder, you might not want to wait too long to decide... they are being discontinued.
The khaki is already gone... as in Maxpedition is out of them and is not going to make anymore.
And you may want to check availability with dealers before you purchase... if they don't have them or have them on the way, chances are they will not be able to get them.
I have acquired the bulk of Maxpedition's remaining inventory. :)

I do make the occassional exception to Canada for forum members... but the shipping is expensive (in my opinion). Just shoot me an email. :)
 
After reading all the good stuff about these,I just had to get me one of 'em.
Been carrying this around the woods for about a week now & everything you guys said about them is true!
This one came from TwoWolvesOutdoor.
I find it easier for me to carry on a belt instead of the shoulder strap:

I followed the lead of some of you folks as far as what's inside except that I have a 40oz. Klean Kanteen instead of the Guyot bottle.

This thread prompted me to order a bottle holder and accessories of my own from Two Wolves. Since my intention is to take this fly fishing with me, I opted for a 12x5 which I hoped would fit the Stanley thermos I take my meals in. I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I discovered that it fit perfectly. :D I also picked up a Mini Rollypoly I can wear on my belt and place a Guyot bottle in, since I typically let my bottle cool in the water and don't like putting it back in my regular kit dirty. I'll be using this quite a bit in the next few months and I think I'll be quite happy with it. Thank you LupaWolf. :thumbup:

Edited to add: The 12x5 will also accommodate a BushyBuddy along with the Guyot if you do some creative packing.

Do the 3" or 5" tacties work better with the 10x4 and cocoon pouches?
