I haven't been able to contact Chuck since I got hold of him the first time. You taking it over sounds good to me.

Haven´t been here as much as I should so I had not seen this topic but now that I saw it, I´ll send some stuff right away!

this might seem like a silly question..but i ve been wanting to send some steel, but where do you think he would get his 5160 from? i know he said whatever he could get,but id like to send what he likes best..if anyone knows where he orders from ..would some of the jd shafts work for him?

Swede, I'm not 100% sure but I believe Bruce has a pile of 5160 thats he's been working off of for sometime now.

I'm sending some JDM5160 and some 1070 saw steel..
also Mike S gave me some burl at the ncca show to send to Bruce also..:thumbup:

Man I cant believe all this help.
Got the belts this week,cant wait to try them (I have never used top dollar belts before:D )Got Don's package today.You guys are all just amazing.

As for steel,I still have a big bunch of the 5160 I have been using all these years,but am not afraid to try new stuff:thumbup: and since I havent bought steel in years I dont have any favorite suppliers.

Again a very big "THANK YOU" From Donna the Girls and myself.

It just so happens I have a piece of genuine Bruce Evans Damascus (random) 1/4"X2X 14 or 15" that I've been saving for years to do something special with.

This seems special.
What do you think Dan? Is thios something Bruce can use?

I talked to Bruce E today about things getting to him and he said your package has not made it yet.. you may want to call TKS to see when it was shipped , I know it can be a few days out of their shop
if not sent at least 3rd day..just in case there was a mess up of some kind..

Dan, Why don't you hold onto the knife till Chuck gets hold of me. If it does end up going to Washington I'd like the air miles passed onto me. :D
