Man there are some serious losers on this forum. Member dobywon offered a knife for trade and I made him an offer. Never heard back from him and saw that he wound up trading it. Told him thanks a lot for bothering to reply to me and he leaves fake negative feedback for me on itrader for my Benchmade Balisong which isn't even traded yet. This itrader thing is kinda crap if someone can just leave negative info about you cause they feel like it. Bottom line... regardless of any other facts... dobywon is a liar, watch your six boys.
 
If there was never a transaction I can't see how any feedback should be left.
I spoke first for a knife and the seller decided to sell it to a person speaking after me, because the person would take all he had to sell. This didn't make me happy, but I just said it's your deal do as you please and there was no transaction. So no need for me to do anything about feedback.
Sounds like he felt entitled to leave you negative just because you said, "Thanks a lot for bothering to reply to me". Hope it gets straightened out.

I can see why you are upset and it was certianly immature that he left you negative feedback when no transaction occured and this should be a bannable or at least a very serious infraction.

But in all honesty you offered Dobywon a trade and you did not hear back from him. A couple of questions? How did you communicate via email? via PM? and how many times did you attempt to get in contact with Dobywon?

The reason I ask is I often get trade requests or emails and my spam filter dumps the email and I never see them. It could be that Dobywon was just not interested in your trade. Bad form I agree not to just quick respond and say "no thanks" but I dont see this as a lie...

Bad communication yes...Immature behavior for Itrader..( which can be reversed by a mod) but overall your not out anything so be of good cheer!
 
It looks like no transaction took place (knife is still available), but negative feedback was left referencing the original trade thread. Maybe it has already been done, but I am going to PM dobywon with a link to this thread and then he can come here and explain his actions.
 
It certainly is a lie to leave feedback on a deal that is still up.
I read the negative feedback and the thread that is linked to it is for unbreakable's B/M and it is still for trade. If you don't trade or sell you aren't entitled to leave any feedback. Even if you do make a deal, I'd think you are only entitled to leave negative when the other party refuses to make a deal right, after being asked to.
For example I sell a knife as NIB and it's not. After being asked to take it back, I refuse. Then in those circumstances I deserve negative.
 
It's only a knife. The sooner people learn to disconnect their innermost wounded feelings from every net transaction, the easier life will be for them. It's just a knife. There are many reasons why a deal does not go through but getting upset over it doesn't make it better.

We really do need dobywon to help us understand exactly what's happening here, but please, guys, don't make this a point of personal honor. The owner has every right to decide with whom he will or won't deal, is entitled to miss an email or misread a date stamp, as long as no one is out money: no harm, no foul.

So dobywon, what's this about a negative rating?
 
I think the point is not that Dobywon lied in the trade, but that he lied by giving negative feedback on a trade he was not a part of (being that the knife is not traded).
 
Slander is always unfair. :p
I know it's about the feedback that came from overreacting to not getting the trade he wanted.
 
I had a very smooth deal with Dobywon as well, I hope this is just a "newish member" misunderstanding.

In short, Dont leave feedback on an unfinished deal. :(
 
First off I want to say what I did was wrong and I apologize. I did leave feedback in unbreakables i-trader without making a deal with him. The reason for this is immature and I am ashamed that I acted like a teenager before thinking. I was hving a hard time sleeping last night and had a terrible headache. I come on the forums last night and notice I have a message.It was from unbreakable andit said"Thanks for at least responding to me ya jerk"
He didnt bother to tell that part. So without thinking I retaliated and left negative feedback in his i-trader. I have had several offers and did not reply because I forgot not to be a JERK. So like I said I am sorry for doing what I did but unbreakable had no reason for leaving such a crappy pm.
