I was going to stay out of Canal Street's hair, but decided to email for an update:

"Hi Wally and Joe,

First would like to wish you and your be best for the holidays and New Year.

When you get a chance, I wanted to check on the order for the stag ring knives for the group at Blade Forums.

Regards,

Gus Kalanzis"

I will post the reply when I get it.

Stag Ring Knife huh, I might be interested in something like that. Where do I sign up? ;)

I thought you wanted puppies. :D.

I am really excited about getting my first "ring" knife. I do have a couple of questions though. I know they are to be stag but is only the band stag or is the little tang thingy also going to be stag? Are the adjustable so you can wear them on any finger?

Just googled for ring knife. It is some kind of nursery/horticulture tool.

The guy I bought a Christmas tree from last year was wearing one of those. It seems pretty handy if you are using your hands for lots of things and also cutting a lot of twine. It's kind of like the worlds smallest hawkbill, too.

Hey Gus, thanks for asking CS for a status update.

Who plans on EDCin' your twist ring?

I carry all my knives at one time or another, the ones I like, I carry more frequently.

I have and do carry a twist ring knife now so I see it becoming part of my EDC anyway.

i plan to pick up another amber bone to carry, but not these...
