Message From Canal Steet on Forum Knife. Good to go.

Any responce from CSC? I wish I was as patient as the rest of you guys. :)

Bill, I might not be as patient IF there was anyone else but Gus handling this.
You're not knife-poor you can get by a little bit longer. Take deep breaths and repeat, "All in good time...I'll get it when I get it....Ummmmmmmm"

My feelings Exactly!. And when I start Jones'n real bad for a ring knife to look at, I just go over a few posts back to cccxiv's post #54 to look at has fine little Canal Street ring knife collection to get me through..:D

I don't know about you, but I am ready to buy the 2007 Blade Forum knife. Do you think Bastid is ready for this again?

I didn't try to find the post but I seem to recall when the BFC knife idea was in the planning stages, that Bastid said something about passing the job around in the future. If that is true, we may need to find a volunteer honcho for the 2007 knife.

new mop. if santa would bring a new stag.......

That MOP is stunning.

I have not heard a word back from them.

As far as 2007. Na not me. I'll participate and help, but someone else is going to have to handle the next one.
(this turned out to be a lot more work than I thought it would be and to be honest should have been) :D.

At this point I will wait until the new year and call them again.

I decided to try and call today and Wally was in.

Bottom line:

They have started on our batch and said they will have them in my hands by the end of January.

Good to know Gus!. Thanks for the update.

Regarding post # 69 for 2007, perhaps you could serve as a consultant so to speak to give advisement on how to avoid whatever unpleasantness plagued us this time around.

Gus,

Thanks for all you've done, and for your continued effort on our behalf. We all appreciate it greatly.

Merry Christmas and here's hoping for a great new year.

Bill

Guys,

I am sorry if I came across a little harshly. There are just a few individuals that are driving me a little crazy. All I can say is that I placed the order when I said I did. My (our) check cleared when I said it did and that I have posted all communication within minutes after it occurred without exception.

I am NOT hiding anything and have been open with everyone on this from the beginning. I'll do it again some time, but I want to take a break from impatience next year.

If anyone wants their money back email me, I'll send them a check and keep the knife.

I know it has been a lot of work and you still have a bunch more to do. (My offer to come and help still stands.)

Thankyou so much for doing this and have a great Christmas. Everyone have a great Christmas.

Peter,

Thank you!

We may get together for a "packing party". :D.

Gus,
I am sorry for the precious few apples that seem to always be present to spoil the bunch, as it were.. No matter how good the group is as a whole, unfortunately, there will always be a small hand full of malcontents that just have to whine and complain like the little baby be-hatches that they are!.:barf: :jerkit:

GOD BLESS YOU for putting up with the likes of them my friend!. And, if any of them want there money back, I will put it up in there place and be very pleased to take the extra 2006 bf.com knives to put up  !!!! Please just let me know as you have my email Addy and I will PayPal you immediately.

Sincerely,
Anthony

Gus, Gimme names, I've still got my Nerf-Bat and I'm not afraid to use it, but I need names???

Yea, names.. I don't have a nerf bat, however, I do have a lead filled St. Louisville Slugger & Phil and I will work 4 knives..  :p :) :D :D

wow didnt think the goat chow joke would piss you off so much-lol

glad i didnt mention the gross of blow up dolls i noticed you buy-lol

I'd be willing to bail someone out of an unwanted/unclaimed knife, too, if that turns out to be a problem. Wouldn't want them to go to the Land of Misfit Toys, or anything...
