Message from Ethan Becker

Just got an e-mail from someone at survival sheath systems that confirmed Ka bar is supposed to be selling the new Bk-7 and other models shortly.
 
What good news!

I am sure that they will still be a excellent product and at good prices.

I really want a couple more Neckers.

Hopefully they'll still be a US made product, but if they aren't I will hold judgement till I can see one for myself.
 
Waiting with anticipation. Right now I would love a Becker Necker. I do wish that we still had the NY Three, and I would love to see Camillus reconstituted in the future, but glad to hear that Ka-Bar is going to try to take up the slack.

I hope, if he does open up shop in Olean, that he'll have a company store or outlet or whatever. It would be nice to have some place close(<45min.) to get my hands on some decent knives. Those suckas at Ontario only sell through thier dealers. Grr.
 
As soon as they hit the market I will be in for at least 20 of em. I need more for the collection. 5 of each please. BK1's, BK2's, BK11's BK10's.
 
This is really great news. Ethan and his knives needed another avenue!
 
Hopefully they will offer the models that supposedly didnt sale well like the machax and the magnum camp. Thank god they are coming back I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing a campanion and a tac tool when I had the chance.
 
Awesome! I have really enjoyed several of Ethan's designs, and they rank among my most favorite knives to use. Even though I really do not need more knives (yes, perhaps I am temporarily ill in the head when I say that), I would enthusiastically pick up anything new that Ethan puts out.
 
Hey everyone...it is very good to be back!!!!!!!!! BK&T is in my hands once again and will be made stateside. The contract with my new liscensee is not yet signed but i plan on a sightseeing trip to check out the lovely fall foliage in the scenic hills around Olean New York in early october, so look for an announcement then. Thank you all for the kind words...... I almost cried when Susan read me the posts on the trip home. I have kept mysef absent from this hallowed venue for two reasons...one is that i was whining a lot and two i found very early in my fight to get loose that I could not predict worth a tinkers damn what was going to happen next. I did not wish to appear as dumb as i felt and certainly did not wish to whine in public.

Trust me i was doing plenty of that to friends....thank you Darrell, Gibbs, Doug, AG, Mike P, and Jeff...oh and Harley too, you all were very patient and i really appreciate it!

There have been extensive discussions about which models will continue in the line and which will have to wait and which new stuff will be announced and when. The Necker by the way is on everyone's list.......


As to my opinion as to why Camillus was reduced to this sorry end......
well there just is not any cure for STUPID.

More soon. the dogs need their run and i just got off the road and really need a beer....

BK-7 was the best blade I ever had!

I sold mine to a buddy that was heading to Afghanistan. Glad I'll be able to get another one now along with a Necker.
 
There are a whole lot of Becker fans. Many of them on BF.

I suspect the recent news and the rush for "Camillus Beckers" will only rebound to Ethan's benefit.
