Message from Ethan Becker

Just spoke to Ethan and he asked that I pass along the message that he's gotten his Becker Knife & Tool name back after the Camillus auction and he's presently loading up a truck with BK&T bits and pieces and heading out for Olean, NY.

He got all the remnant parts for his Becker line, right

Hey everyone...it is very good to be back!!!!!!!!! BK&T is in my hands once again and will be made stateside. The contract with my new liscensee is not yet signed but i plan on a sightseeing trip to check out the lovely fall foliage in the scenic hills around Olean New York in early october, so look for an announcement then. Thank you all for the kind words...... I almost cried when Susan read me the posts on the trip home. I have kept mysef absent from this hallowed venue for two reasons...one is that i was whining a lot and two i found very early in my fight to get loose that I could not predict worth a tinkers damn what was going to happen next. I did not wish to appear as dumb as i felt and certainly did not wish to whine in public.

Trust me i was doing plenty of that to friends....thank you Darrell, Gibbs, Doug, AG, Mike P, and Jeff...oh and Harley too, you all were very patient and i really appreciate it!

There have been extensive discussions about which models will continue in the line and which will have to wait and which new stuff will be announced and when. The Necker by the way is on everyone's list.......

As to my opinion as to why Camillus was reduced to this sorry end......
well there just is not any cure for STUPID.

More soon. the dogs need their run and i just got off the road and really need a beer....

All Best,
ethan

Good to hear. Any plans for uncoated BK models?

Please Bring back the Becker Brute, BK1, dying to get my hands on one of these, just can't afford the 300.00 they are going for on ebay,

Becker knives are definitely needed up hear in Canada especially with the dollars being equal :)

I need four of them please. :D:D:D:D

A BK10 with an almost satin finish and a bit smaller handle would be great. Couldn't bear to strip my BK10 and tear a chunk out of the handle.

Welcome back Ethan!!! We missed ya bro and all your remnants :) can't wait!!!
(singin elton john) "The bit... is baaack!" (I mean that in a really nice way! :D )

I was getting ready to purchase an RTAK-II but I think I need to wait now and see what Becker will make available.

Will there ever be a folder? The world lacks a folding knife with a non-stainless blade and a zytel handle.

Whatever happens, keep up the war against Chromium overdosing.

Let me tell you this- I'm new here and I think this is my first post but I just got a Campanion and it's the most impressive knife I've ever owned.
I don't say that lightly- last Christmas I waited in line for over 4 hours to get a Benchmade folder because I couldn't afford it any other way but the Becker is much better in my mind.
I hope Mr. Becker gets everything going soon so I can contribute to my collection and his good fortune-

Congratulations, Ethan. It was a shame to see what happened to you and I'm delighted to read that things are going to work out okay.

This is great news. Becker's knives were some of the best value for money knives out there and I'm sure they will be again with the new factory making them.

Never had the chance to get one before they became out of price :(

Thanks for this new hope.

Way to go Ethan!!
And just in time for the Yule season...all right!!

Cheers and best of luck!
