Message from Ethan Becker

Ethan you goat, you'd better call me with the good news ASAP. We need to get you set up here with a Becker Forum. I am eagerly awaiting the return of the best selling fixed blades we've ever sold, not to mention a limited run of 100 or so BladeForums.com BECKER models.

Wow.

That's good news. Every single word of it.

Just point me to the sign-up list for the BF model... :D:thumbup:

(to paraphrase scrappy...)
Guyon, you BK-5 whore... you've cornered the market!;):D

What, only ONE Becker-necker? I'll trade you mine for, say.... 5 magnum camps?;)

HOW DID I MISS THIS THREAD?!?!?

This is great news! I love my Becker 7 and have recommended it to many people. It used to be soooo easy when someone started a "What fixed blade for a serviceman," or "Best bargin" thread to answer with BECKER! Absolutely the most knife for the money.

Now Sparky has a great idea....a limited run of BF knives......say the Magnum Camp?
Good to see you here Mr. Becker.

I spy two Neckers in that pic.

Did I hear "5 Magnum Camps"? ;) :D

I'm ecstatic to hear Ethan Becker is back, and his knife line too. I bought a BK7 in May of 2006, along with several other types/styles/brands of fixed blades to test out, with plans to buy several of whatever brand/model I decided was my favorite. IMHO, The BK7 was the best, hands down. I didn't have to sharpen it for more than a year, and yes, it got used a lot during that time. EVERYONE I've shown this knife too, even war vets, have loved it. Several asked where to get one; problem was, Camillus closed and everybody ran out of stock before I could order more. Well, now I can get some new ones, as gifts.

Ethan, welcome back, congratulations, and here in Concord CA we're eagerly awaiting the 'new' BK&T line. I've learned my lesson; when the new ones come out, I'm buying at least 3 or four. (And a lot more if I can keep the wife from finding out . . . :D)

thx - cpr

Ethan, I sure am glad to see you posting here again. Congratulations on getting your line back.

Regarding the new line, I'll take one each of these models. :p :D

Plus whatever else you dream up.

Hey Ethan, thank you for designing/producing them and for fighting to keep the designs alive.

I blame Bladite for my Becker mania.

If I am the Magnum Camp master, he is definitely the Machax master.

it's actually bigger now... i've added a few.

by my count, there were at least 3 "div/tac" tul variants before camillus. only have a few of those (anyone got a tactul camillus sheath they ain't using, send it! ;>)

i'm proud *sniff* to have influenced a few maniacalites like guyon :)

and mmm 5160? can you say khukri? i knew you could. yummy.

having new beckers will be AWESOME. even more better, the market for used ones will perhaps become reasonable again ;) need to find me some variants that will surely pop up. j/k. these things are gold.

zombies beware!

Please Bring back the Becker Brute, BK1, dying to get my hands on one of these, just can't afford the 300.00 they are going for on ebay,

Becker knives are definitely needed up hear in Canada especially with the dollars being equal :)

I believe that I bought the last Brute in western Canada last year. It aint pretty with the reprofiled edge, sharpened swedge, black hockey tape on the scales (for grip) and the scuff marks/sap from chopping down numerous trees. I've got that sucker sharpened up enough to hack chunks out of trees almost like my tomahawk. I love this big mama jama and I'm VERY happy to read that Beckers will be available again. I want more!

Hey Spark...

Will call on the way back or when I get back.... probably thurs or friday...looking forward to it!!!!!!

all best,

ethan

Ethan, glad your back. The Becker line is not something that should go away. Anyone that can produce such fine products at such reasonable prices has to be here to stay and I would love to see a becker forum here.

So, if it comes to picking steel, A-2 would be my choice as well for the bigger stuff. Reeves A2 is a great all around steel. DO IT !!!:D

I would have to buy 10 of each size in A2.

Add me to the list that is very happy to see Becker alive and kicking. I'll be buying a BK-2 as soon as I can!

I am so glad the Beckers are coming back. I have a Brute, Combat Bowie, Combat Utility, and a Patrol machete. These are great knives. My favorite is the Bowie. It cuts better than the Brute and is light enough to serve as mini-machete. All I need is a Necker!

Pay 100.00 on the 'Bay and it's yours! :D (Trust me, I know...ouch.)

They go for less now on the Bay :p
