Thank you very much GaryCongrats on the very-old-school metal friction folder, Jack!
The knife is extremely cool, but not as cool as being made by a cutler named Cutler, who was obviously born to the trade!![]()

Thanks for the additional info on Mr. Cutler, Jack.Thank you very much GaryI'm not sure how long the Tod in question has been known as Tod Cutler, (a good while I suspect), but I think his real surname is actually something different. He has some great YouTube videos

Really cool shot of your Tyne Knife Harvey
LOL! It's an interesting ideaThanks for the additional info on Mr. Cutler, Jack.I wonder if my teaching effectiveness would have been enhanced had I changed my surname to "Teacherman" decades ago? (I would have kept my original initials, and that would save me a bundle on monogramming expenses.
)
For Metal Monday this week, I'll show a Ka-Bar hobo knife I bought last July. It's a marvel of engineering! (And it's almost impossible to avoid being seen in that concave spoon.![]()

Interesting photograph. You have skills. Except for maybe the lit LEDs, it looks like an oil painting.

Thanks Harvey, great pic there
Jack, I'd probably forget my Leatherman, too, for a thread like this, as well as half the other knives I have that qualify, if I depended wholly on my unaided mental recall. So I just work my way systematically through my folders of knife photos. "Leatherman" appears soon after the "Ka-Bar" folder from which I posted last week.Thanks Gary, I always forget my LeathermanVery well-made tools
