Michael Morris Friction Folder--Let's see 'em

No pics to share, but I love mine. It rides in my briefcase / bookbag so I have it with me nearly constantly. One confession though: I have used the bottle opener at least 10 times for each use of the blade! :o

I love mine, I use it on every brewday! The design just works so well! It's easy to open with one hand, which is a big help on brew days, because my hands are typically full and it's got that bottle opener, which is an absolute necessity when you're brewing beer!

I ordered one a couple weeks ago. He said minimum of 6 weeks. And he only stocks black, green, brown, and natural micarta now.
 
Yeah I ordered a cpl days ago and he said about 90 to 180 days. Just wanted to see how long it took y'all to get em in hand. It's gonna be a long wait lol. I have an ML on order too so maybe they'll all show up around the same time
 
I talked with Michael through email today. He seems like a great guy. I love the models and this thread is responsible for my orders, so thanks to all for the pics and info!! And now the wait.
 
Got mine today, too and it is the same as daisy cutters. It is way better than I thought it would be. I like it a lot!
 
Trey I agree its waaaay better than I could hope for! I actually got 2, this one and a drop point for a friend but I gave him his before I took photos. Ill have a drop point next.
 
This is my first exposure to Michael's knives and they are absolutely captivating to me. Every one is as unique as a snow flake. . . only much more useful and lasting. I am wondering what turn around time is on these. Anyone care to share their personal experience. Beautiful choices by all of you.
 
I ordered in November and got them in April so 5 months for me. I checked in with Michael around the 4 month mark and he told me he had a death in the family which put him behind a little. Super nice guy to deal with. He called me the week he was starting them then the day he shipped.
 
I'm guessing daisy cutter and I think alike. I ordered mine in November also and got it yesterday. No big deal and worth the wait.
