Misinformed Becker hate?

You need to get that beast dirty, a unbeaten Becker is an unhappy Becker and borderline knife abuse.

Where's your user shots at? The only ones I ever see are of that purty, polished 2, haha. :D

Oh didn't know that hope I don't get kicked in the nuts! Gone

Ah man, I'm just shittin' ya. Hell, I probably have more glam shots than anyone. :p

Nope. Looks like you have to order the knife to get the scales.

True. They are the original scales that are machined by computer then reinstalled using stainless steel screws. Pricing scales elsewhere and actually gripping the knife the $20 price does not seem out of line. The results make the knife somewhat unique.

Damn, why don't you strip and polish that thang or sumpthin? ;)
Ehh who's got time for that lol...I lived with that darn coating for 2.5 years thou. Should've stripped long ago..I'll never have a coated Becker again...one benefit to the polish is it glides thru wood now, it feels so smooth when feathering and carving.

Lately thou I've just been using my other one, I want to go full height convex on the original, but it's slow going by hand.

I definitely think it's worth the $20. I already have three BK2's though, haha. Be cool if they bought a bunch, cnc'd them, and sold them separately.

It's difficult for me to believe that the small amount of weight from the material removed by dimpling would cause a 1 3/8 oz reduction in the weight of the knife but the knife weighs 14 5/8 on digital scales. It does not feel out of balance. It is amazingly comfortable to grip. You can really feel the added friction tho.

Does anybody know where I can get the black grivory replacement handles? Not the ugly colored ones that are sold in sets!

He lost me at the beginning of the 3rd sentence he wrote: "Yes this survival knife is expensive at $190.98 for the steel colored..."
Right There, right when he said steel colored when referring to plain, uncoated steel...

Yes! Me too. I was confused when he kept bringing up a knife having a "flat end" until I realized he was talking about a pommel...........

He must not be too picky about the "full tang" on his Buck 119 Special
