Several people here seem to feel it's aok to jump on a member who's only fault was to buy from a seller. When he didnt get what he paid for and several emails went unanswered for over a week, he came here to seek advice, just as many of you have done in the past. I see no fault on him for asking questions or not wanting to pay even $5 out of his own pocket for something that was not his fault in the least.
One must admit that the buyer was left with little recourse in this transaction by the seller. That was why i let the buyer know what his only options were. When one checks the sellers sales and finds that much of the info contained in his sales (to the point that this sale no longer even existed) has been edited out, things start looking a bit fishy. Especially when one notices that there is no other participation on this site by this seller other than his sales threads. We have had scammers play this same game. When the buyer stated he had not recieved the refund payment that the seller stated he sent ( because the seller again failed to communicate, ie: when the payment would arrive), i sent a pm with a link to that post and asked if he sent it to the correct person and advised him that his reputation and possibly membership were on the line. I advised him that he should take care to be sure things were sent properly. Much as he wants to believe, i did not jump on him or threaten him. When he responded that i was impugning his internet honor by telling the OP to contact the authorities, I explained that his choice of actions in this matter were the cause and that he possibly should reevaluate how he is doing business and communicate better. As much as the seller would like to believe his only fault was to send the wrong package, he needs to accept the fact that this matter is entirely his fault, including the embarrassment.
It is not required that someone purchase a paid membership to buy things here. It is only required to sell. Noone should be admonished into buying a membership, that is not how this place works.
