MJ&S Knives? Whats going on?

Jackyyyy,

I did not start this thread did I???

I am not the only one here that has had problems with "MJSknives"?

Am I? Apparently not?

Some of the guys on this thread ordered their knives over a month ago. Do you find this acceptable? Because if YOU do, I find YOU unacceptable (Jacky).

When the company I do business with fails to deliver my orders, refuses to answer my phone calls, does not return my e-mails for a month or more. What do you call this JACKY ??????

Incompetence or normal customer service for your just average net company?

Since you have not been shafted, you may not sound like a broken record.

Open your window and YELL, "I'm MAD as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore".

Next time you choose to flame me, take a breath mint 1st. Cause you have halitosis.

This forum is dedicated to all critiques good or bad of different knife companies on the net. I will not be censored by a loyal supporter to a company that has caused me and others problems. That is the point of this forum JACKY.

Alright Carrie,

Whatever you say, it's just so lame when you keep saying the same damned thing, to the same damned person, over-and-over again. Let him decide for himself. You shouldn't further corrupt this thread by starting something with me because I made a suggestion. (Not censorship, BTW.) Start a new one that'll (I'm sure) get much more attention with the right topic heading.

What you mean is stop badmouthing your buddy at MJSknives.

I went to YOUR homepage, you have "MJSknives" listed under your 7 personal links.

That explains your sensitivity to critiques against one of your 7 links that you have listed as your fav's.

It was not difficult to figure out YOUR defensiveness and bias.

Go Inspector Gadget!!! IMO, theirs nothing wrong with loyalty, unless it means hiding the truth about the one your being "loyal" to. I am not hiding the truth, I was just trying to re-assure those who didn't know better. I also pointed out your annoying "take your business to someone who gives a damn" posts. I admit it, Mark was slow to take care of these customers, but with damned good reason. Some things are just more important than knives sometimes.

Hey Jackyl,

You're only going to get tired and annoy the pig, if you catch my drift...

well folks, maybe I spoke too soon. The tracking number I got keeps coming back not found. I ordered A package from onestopknifeshop the same day Mark said he was sending mine. I got the 1stop package today. Still no package from Mark, and the Tracking # still doesn't work. Has anyone actually gotten thier stuff yet? I e-mailed him again and I am going to call in A minute.

When i got my email passifier I quickly responded to Mark to send me a tracking number. I know he read it and he did not reply. His email said that my order "should be filled today" which means that it probably wasn't. No explination for the HUGE delay except that he was out of the knife. Shouldn't he have told me about that when or right after I placed my order?? I imagine it will just magically appear one day.

Now I know when things go bad, and I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt & some understanding. But while all these guys say he is great, if something bad did happen, he needs to deal with it in a better way. He should send out a mass email that he is taking a month off. Let people decide if they want to wait. Cancel all orders and let then reorder if they want. He IS ruining his name. Anyone that reads this forum will have serious doubts about him. Why order from him when there are so many others? On the internet, all you have is your name\ reputation.

He should give us something FREE!! or a discount, etc.

Yeah, I gotcha man. Anything further, take to email. Though theirs not much more to be said. I can't speak for Mark, just from my own experience. Something does need to be done / said, but who knows what Marks going through right now. We'll find out soon enough.

...and annoy the pig...

Elivislover, nice flame buddy. What is your specific malfunction? Me and others have had problems with MJSknives, that gives you the right to call me names, like "PIG"? On a forum designed for complaining about net knive companies? Your real SMART there, mensa candidate.

Jacky, "anything further, take it to e-mail"???? If you don't like the "complaint forum" you can take yourself to another site, Mark. You don't give orders around here. Are you being paid to defend MJSknives??? Or are YOU Mark??

People are getting shafted RIGHT NOW. As I was a long time ago. If you do not have a complaint about MJSknives, why do you attack people that are having problems and trying to resolve them as we speak? Get off your high toy horse and pat yourself on the back for being a loyal puppy.

MJSknives, does not rotate around YOU. There are other customers and consumers in the WORLD involved here, besides YOU & Elvis.

I am very upset that a couple posters in this thread are still left out in the COLD like cattle, wondering where their old ORDERS are exactly? Why there is no communication is completely unprofessional by MJSknives.

THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE AND OR FORUM TO DISCUSS THESE "EXACT MATTERS". GET USED TO IT OR GET OUT!

Well, I have gotten two different e-mails that said it was "in stock" and "going out today". As of September 9, still no package and the tracking number is still "not found".
I guess I will wait some more. Jackyl, take it to email with who? I hope not with MJ&S as we already know that does not work. He has replied here before so we know that he knows this thread is here. I am not going to badmouth MJ&S, as I don't know what is going on with him. But, I would like to get my stuff/explanation. How long can it take to send an e-mail to everyone with A quick apology and some more info? I think I speak for everyone when I say that if Mark had kept in contact then this thread would probably not exist. As we learned from the Army....hurry up and wait.

I don't know what is going on with Mark at MJS, I have always been very impressed by him in the past. I feel for all of you that are having trouble and hope it all works out for you and Mark.
That having been said, I have dealt with Jackyl and he is an upstanding guy and a respected member of this "society". I would have no problem buying from him again. However, after following this thread from the beginning there are some others that I would choose to never deal with( THIS IS NOT MJS). This is not because of your complaints about service, or lack thereof but because of the way you have handled yourselves in this thread. Just as you may choose not to do business with some dealer I can choose not to do business with you or read/respond to your threads. Actually now looking back I think there is only one Person I don't respect on this thread and it is not Mark.
Flame me if you must.
Eric

Can we confine ourselves to discussing the problems at MJ&S Knives? Talking about the personal problems you may imagine other people who've posted in this thread have may be entertaining, but it's off-topic.

Things get misinterpreted on the net.... "Yeah, I gotcha man. Anything further, take to email," seems very clear to me, and yet after all the misunderstandings I've seen on the net in the past, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised some people might think Jackyl was telling them to take something to email....

I'd rather not lock this thread even though it seems to be drifting off topic -- I'm hoping to see updates on how MJ&S is getting back on track and dealing with the back orders.

Cougar, I gotcha. Jackyl, sorry I misunderstood. I thought you were talking to me, now I know different. I will post here as soon as I hear from MJ&S knives. I hope others will do the same?

Mark@MJS ,

I bought a knife from your company last week so I guess that I am automatically
entered into your drawing! Yippeeee! Looking forward to seeing if I am the big winner.
(ejordan1)
How often do you have these drawings? Once a month? Yahooo! Your company has the
best "prices" on the net not to mention the best "customer service". Thanks for
answering all of my many "e-mails". You will have repeat clientele & Loyal customers like
me. There is only one knive company on the "net" that I will use , thanks "mjsknives".

Eric, thank you, Cougar...thanks for clearing things up for me. I was busy moving into my new place this weekend. I hope everyone realizes that I'm not just kissing Mark's @ss, or showing extreme favortism for MJS Knives, I just have some strong opinions about him because to me, he is more a friend, than anything else. I know the things I may say sometimes about Mark or MJS Knives are often mistaken for "cheer-leading," so I try to avoid that. Let me just say, that Mark is a great guy, with great values, but things are going on in his life that he has to cope with. This is no excuse for Mark, as things DO in fact, need to change. I haven't heard from him in a while myself, but I will post as soon as I do. I hope everyone else gets their money / order and is happy. Maybe Mark will have the opportunity to make it up to you all in the future.

Chang WANG,

Thanks for using your brain.

Long ago I was a happy customer, UNTIL I got shafted, then I was no longer a happy customer.

Simple enough for ya?

That is why I can comment directly on this specific company? Clear or not yet number one son?

In the past I have ordered many knives from MJSknives. All the orders went fine except one. I returned/exchanged one knife, well weeks passed and he kept telling me that he had not recieved the knife that I had sent him. Well I was pissed and I snapped. I went to my Post Office and cursed out the Post Master and then demanded they track the package to the location that I had sent it to. Registered, certified with a return receipt. I really went postal at the Post Office. I started 3 different verbal fights with 3 different employees. I was PISSED OFF, I went bezerk with ANGER. After many days the Post Office finally gave me the "delivery date" and the "name" of the person at MJSknives that had "signed" for the knife that I had sent them weeks earlier. This was the confirmation I was looking for, I called MJSknives for the 20th time to tell him that I was right and he had my f-ing knife. He said, that he found it, it had been misplaced when they had accepted the package weeks earlier. Not even a sorry, let me make it up to you. No sympathy for stressing me out and causing a sh**load of aggravation. He should have made it up to me, a discount, something to maintain my loyalty. He did nothing.

Another problem was that he would only answer 50% of my e-mails, forcing me to call him to get answers. Boy, was I pissed. He accepts my package and then tells me, that he cannot find the knife I sent him.

Get organized already.....................

Number one son, this was my last experience with MJSknives.com

I wrote this on page 1 of this thread.

It might be difficult for YOU to keep up with the "pace".

So READ it again, till it sinks in "deep" into your 8 meg memory bank.

Lets all WANG CHANG tonight, go play in traffic already.

Don't get this thread locked Haricari...it obvious to me, and the others I'm sure, that you're one can short of a six-pack. I mean, what's up with all the rediculious name calling? It's not clever or anything, so knock it off. Second, you're not contributing to the topic at hand. Instead, your just name calling, and showing your @ss. Are you proud of yourself for "going postal at the post office"? It's funny how you were soooo happy with Mark's service at first, using words like, "Yippeeee!", "Yahooo!", and "You will have repeat clientele & Loyal customers like
me." ...and you were doggin' me for saying I was loyal? You even changed your signature to advertise for Mark. Now, it seems as though if anyone was acting like they were getting paid, it was YOU. It's one extreme or the other with you. You've made your point, now let others make theirs before you get this thread locked. If you want to talk some trash, do it via email. (If you have that much time on your hands.) BTW, where is YOUR email address? Just stop and read the things you've written. You're not getting anywhere acting the way you have. Chill out, and post again when you have something to offer.

Today was the deadline for my order to arrive. It has not, so I will be contacting Mark via email to inform him of the no-show of my order and go from there.
