All I know is that a dude named Dennis in PA has one of the most stunning Mnandi's ever made. Congrats Dennis ~ #11 is a real looker. If Mnandi's wear shoes, then #11 is strutting in a pair of stilettos...very sharp!

I'm fairly new to CRK's, so there's many of their products I haven't seen yet. But, as I recall, RiverRat84 posted a pic of his Black Palm blade not too long ago and it was love at first sight for me. I love the leopard like appearance, it's just so unique. Plus, I can't recall any other manufacturers using that wood.

Same here. I've read that it's not used much because that there is actually very little useable wood in the black palm. It is technically classified as a grass (like bamboo) and most of the interior is kind of pulpy. What is useable, is somewhat difficult to work. Anyway, the wood is a looker. Gosh .... I think I need to start looking for a 60s Caddy outfitted with those faux leopard skin seats and dash!!!!! Ehhhhh ..... maybe not!
