Are those who bought a Mnandi Mammoth Ivory/Bark with damascus at the average price happy with their purchase or are they experiencing a tinge of buyer's remorse?
How come none of the Kings or Queens in this thread didn't pick this one up? They would have saved me some money.![]()

This is a nice peice as well. I remember seeing it earlier in the thread. The leather sheath molding itself around the Mnandi caught my interest.
I think one reason why yours sat for a while is simply because of the price point -- in the grand scheme of things, there are not that many folks on the planet that 1) know about and understand/appreciate CRKs, and 2) are willing to spend that kind of money on a knife in this economy. The other reason is . . . it was patiently waiting for you to make up your mind.![]()
The reason I asked this question was to mine for any potential issues that would persuade me to avoid allocating funds towards something that wasn't absolutely perfect. The mammoth ivory inlays with damascus are pricey and therefore I want my money's worth. This thread has twisted my arm until I purchased an Mnandi I've had my eye on for a number of weeks. The fact that it was sitting there for a number of weeks does raise concern. How come none of the Kings or Queens in this thread didn't pick this one up? They would have saved me some money.![]()
