Nice! I have a current project with Lignum, it's interesting stuff to work with.

I thinned the clip and sheepsfoot blades and sanded all of them to 3000 grit finish. I am pretty happy with this knife so far, probably going to add some scrimshaw to it in the future.
I used an extremely course whetstone I laid the blade flat down on the stone and rubbed it back and forth until i could feel a bur and repeated on the other side doing this on several other stones to refine the finish before switching to 2000 grit sandpaper and then 3000 grit sandpaper. How’d you thin those blades? I feel like that’d be tricky.
I have since lost this knife but this was a fun project and i really liked the result.
Is that an acrylic? It has a "bone" look around the edges... I really like the way that turned out, it looks really nice with no bolsters.
That, sir, is a vast improvement on the current design.
Correct, it's blue bone. And thanks. Is that an acrylic? It has a "bone" look around the edges... I really like the way that turned out, it looks really nice with no bolsters.
That's an improvement, if you ask me. Spears are fine, but in my book clip points have more uses. Great work.First time ever trying something like this. Still needs a little cleanup work, and I’m not sure if I’m done with the overall shape, but they definitely won’t be letting me into the spear carriers thread.

Cool work- did you also put that lanyard hole in there? What did that knife start out as? Kind looks like a boker.![]()
Dremeled some fluting into the bolsters, not 100%satisfied with the results though. Also rounded them off some and softened the edges all around. I didn't get the line as crisp and straight as I wanted, I think I may try some emory paper around a dowel to fix it.
