P.S. about the scew in the head. When I first got the hawk I considered removing the screw completely...Dont most hawks fit by being jammed to the top anyway? -without a screw fastener?

I´ve got a CS Trail Hawk a few months back and I havent got around doing anything with it exept stripping the paint of it. Then the outher day i had a few moments of spare time so here is my innitial work. I´m thinking of trying to darken the head with either mustard och lemonacid. Any tips on this? Opinions?

Just a tip for paint removal. To shorten time and get it done with one application almost every time. Put the paint stripper on and then wrap the said item to be stripped in saran wrap very well. This will keep the paint stripper from drying out and allow it to work for a much longer period. I usually leave items in for 30 min and when done the paint just falls off.
