Mod'ing The CS Trail Hawk

Ummm, Mr. Snob,

Any notions as to pricing for your hawk parking and bluing services? If not, I could probably get something else for you to practice with. Obviously 7 or 8 at a time is no problem for a man of your talents.

they are nice no question but i think they are way too pretty to use i would feel bad about messing up the finish hitting nails and stuff with it but very nice job.

These are my work. I guess I could of sent them back with the Q.C of a Taiwanese plant but if I did I wouldn't be able to bitch about the quality of imports.

Many Makers on this form have raised the bar. I am often in awe of some of what is displayed here. It is functional art. I am not in the same league but maybe someday.

i was looking at a spare Riflemen's hawk the other day and decided to mod the poll.

that would be awesome to see one all polished up like the ones you cats parkerized, etc. - on a shiny black composite handle ...or any goldang handle for that matter...(why buy one, when you can buy ten, i always say....)

My four Trail Hawk heads just arrived from Mr. GunSnob and I have to tell the pictures GS took do not do his work justice. I am absolutely floored :eek: by this man's generosity and the quality of his work. The man didn't even take me up on my offer of return postage!

Unfortunately I must now part with two of these units. One is a gift for my partner, Billy (it will be a part of the "Milk Crate Preparedness Kit" I'm building for him), and the other is a gift for my friend 762Shooter who's out on the left coast.



I'll try to get some pictures of the finished units posted after I have finished the hafts for these pieces.
