Can you give us a play by play of how your correspondence with him occurred?

To answer your question, no.
Him not paying is not a reason to leave negative feedback either.

Respectfully, you should go back and read your thread in Tech Support on the issue. Also read the following link, specifically Section Four: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/announcement.php?f=699&a=98

Vic, your other thread contains the explanation you are asking for again. You cannot make up your own rules about how you will give people negative feedback "if" they don't comply. That is not how it works here. You follow the exchange rules, there is an explanation of how that works. Since you fired first, then he retaliated, you both should really eat that negative and move on. Chalk it up to not reading the rules for whatever reason, and lesson learned. You did do something wrong, you slammed someone with a negative feedback and no deal was done. iTrader feedback is for COMPLETED deals ONLY. Not for negotiations, not for anything else.

WHat I can say is that if you continue to leave negative feedback in the same way which you did this previous time, you will receive a hefty infraction. That too is covered in the rules. In case anyone hasn't found the rules posted in the announcements in every Exchange subforum or in many moderators signature spaces, here is a link:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/announcement.php?f=746&a=98

The feedback system is specific in what is intended for, not as a way to retaliate or get revenge because you or someone else got pissed off when things didn't go your way. Sorry.

So you left neg. feedback for someone that you did not complete a transaction with (against the rules) and he left some for you....

Now you want to know how to get your's removed??!

Like Rev said, this works out well for both of you, and hopefully it's something you BOTH learn from.

No transaction, No feedback....simple.

Thanks for calling this to my attention, OP. I'll make sure to avoid any dealings with you in the future.

The first time you got negative feedback was two weeks ago.

i believe , before the new owners , i had many more transcaction here , one of the first thing to change on the new forum was the trader rating/count

The current iTrader system has been in use since at least 2008, so it's not exactly new. And you've been using it for that entire time. (That's the earliest instances I've seen on other folks iTrader's, I wasn't around here then.)

If you refuse to pay, you do not get that item. Neither party is out money or property just a little bit of time and probably some added aggravation.
Backing out once or twice on the rare occasion can happen as life throws us curve balls at inopportune times. Make a habit of flaking is a different matter all together.

OK. Point taken. So why would you expect the rules to stay the same after new ownership took over? And why in the last eight years or so have you not read the "new" rules?

tell you the truth i havernt rread all the rules ,,just a few of them

like no bumping up your post for a few days , ect

You seriously should read the rules. Not just here but for anywhere you go. Ignorance is no excuse.

New owners? What on Earth are you talking about This forum has been run by Spark for over 10+ years, "one owner", hell it might have been since 1998 as far as I have read and know. The feedback system did change to a module compatible with the forum software, and it was meant to be used according to the rules, not at your own will. You aren't making sense, in your sales terms, practices, explanations, or in your quoted post. In a nutshell here is what happened:
You broke the forum rules, because you failed to read them.
You screwed up someone else's feedback so they retaliated against you by giving you back what you gave in kind.
You cannot make your own rules up, (we already got that part covered).
Your own willful ignorance in not reading much less following the very simple rules posted gratuitously all over the friggin place is your burden, not ours. You can't blame anyone but yourself for this mess.
You are expected to read and follow the rules, period. It's not that hard, really. I'm not trying to pick on you, but you seem to not be understanding what you are being told here, either on purpose or for whatever reason.
