Mods, Regrinds, Cerakote, and Sharpening

Hello Josh. I sent you an email a couple days ago about a re-grind. Let me know if you didn't get it and how best to contact you. Thanks.
So sorry man... Fell through the cracks somehow! Email replied to.

Josh did a killer job on a Spyderco Gayle Bradley lock mod and a reprofile/mirror edge. Everything came out perfect. Couldn't be happier.

And the new anodizing set up is in! Finished this up recently on it... This small sebenza was disassembled, thumbstud removed, all anodized parts were re-ano'd along w/ the scales to match the blue color, acid etched/stonewashed the blade, and finally - sharpened on the Wicked Edge ;)

You mean this one? Yeah it was a nice one to work on!

Now for the trivia question: can you tell which round is in the mirror? lol

Ha, I was just figuring out how to upload photos to add here! Yours are much better so I'll just add that Josh was great to work with, couldn't ask for better service.

You can judge for yourself whether or not you like the look, I love it!

Check out this Hinderer XM-18 that was JACKED... got it all fixed up though! Praise the Lord! =) It had scratches all over the bevel and a really thick/wide edge. I reground it to a much thinner edge to make it more stock-like, then re-stonewashed it.

Here's another! Reground, added swedge, Etched/stonewashed blade, satin hand-rubbed flats...

Here is the before. One thing that is important to note is that I grind in the secondary bevels at 15 dps prior to the regrind, this way I know where I will be after it is reground. If I left them 25 dps or something then the edge would still widen up considerably even if I ground it to .010" thick, whereas if I set them at 15 dps prior to the regrind they stay that way.

Josh,
the Terotuf is nice to work with. Less abrasive than micarta. But has a similar look, just much fuzzier because of the polyester weave. It also looks like it can get water logged but it is pretty resistant. The one thing I will say is the stuff loves to grab the drill bit, so make sure you have hold of that sucker when you drill it!
It also has a certain stench, like sweet death.

Thanks Matt! I would love to try that stuff out... it is intriguing to me for sure!

Your work looks really amazing!

I have a couple of questions to ask you, so I'm sending you an email now about a sharpening!

Hate serrations? Fortunately there's something that can be done about it! Here's some before and after pics. i also fixed the tip up to make it more pointy instead of rounded.
