"Mora! Mora! Mora!"

I love my Mora, I HATE the sheath. A lot. So it usually waits at home, where it is my favorite paring knife and wood carver while my BK14 rides on my belt for EDC. Why such crappy, overly long one position on a way thin belt sheaths Mora? I cant imagine an impp sheath like the becker would cost another dollar or so.

I'm sorry but I just can't convince myself to buy one. What is up with their sheaths? They look like rubber popsicles.

Sheath is perfect IMO. And the fact you can lash two of them, even more.

I really love my companion, this and my Glock are my go-to camping blades when backàcking with the family. Last time my mora Companion stainless was passed around at a BBQ to cut the sausages, meat, packages, etc. and almost everyone commented on how comfortable and nice to use it was.

While they used it I had my Robust (I think it is, the green carbon steel one) on my belt, its sheath attached to the companion's, so I was able to use the knife to ut my dinner while helping others out.

I really dig my Aqua Salt, but I don't know if it can replace my beloved Mora! so: Mora, mora, mora! for me

I have my hultafors in its sheath in my jeans at the moment. It's great. I don't mind the plastic sheath given the knife weighs 105 grams or 3.7 ounces.

Seriously give these knives a try and enjoy! It will totally change your perspective on EDCing a fixed blade, and what a knife can achieve in terms of functionality for weight and price.

I'm tempted to try one of these moras as they are like $10 bucks shipped on the bay and I don't own a fixed blade at the moment. This looks like a good beat up knife.

Seriously, the bay is hit or miss, but my suggestion to many is find a knife in your budget that you actually do really want from a reputable site, and just toss a cheap Mora of your liking into the cart as well... It's how I got my first one and I didn't regret it.

You can't really go wrong with a Mora but I would take Strategy9's advice and buy from a reputable dealer. Or pick one up retail.

Looking at a Mora for my go to hunting knife. May get a buddy of mine to make a Kydex sheath for it though.

A Mora is something I would buy on a tight budget or for a knife I wouldn't mind throwing away. I can't say it's one I would buy for the pleasure of owning though.

Pleasure of owning (and using) are the only reason I buy any knife, Moras included. Moras are among those products that are truly great value. A whole lot of knife for very little expense. That is true value.

After some years and many, many expensive blades come and gone, Mora has a practicality that keeps them my #1 fixed blade utility knife.

I like some other Scandis too. ;)

Some knives tend to be overlooked
Or brushed aside because
Of its price or seemingly "cheap" appearance.
And brushed aside as it is not quite what one has in mind
When the word "grail knife" pops up in conversations.
It is a shame that folks
In this category
Fail to comprehend
The basic essence
Of what Makes a knife
Being Nothing more than a dependable
And functional work tool
That need not cause one to
Ponder about affordability what so ever.

I have more Mora's than I can reasonably use at any one time. I actually feel bad that I cant use more of them more often, but I tend to rotate between the Bushcraft Black, Companion MG (love its thin, razor sharp blade!), and the Companion SS. I use the stainless Companion quite often for food prep, bring along to local restaurants to replace the POS knives they always give you, or during lunch at work. That 12C27 lasts practically forever without touching up.

I've been using the carbon Companion a lot lately for meat slicing and butchering.. working on getting a natural patina on it.

As far as the Bushcraft Black, it's a nice knife for sure. But sometimes I think the thinner, 2.5mm blade of the standard Companion actually cuts with much less effort. It makes me question the need for the overly robust Bushcraft black. I think a Companion MG and Companion HD paired together can do just as much!

I love higher quality knives.. but the high value of a Mora is tough to beat. And they are so dang replaceable as well. It's a sort of "back to basics" style knife.

Here's a couple of Moras and a couple of Marttiinis along with some other of my outdoor knives. I also have an orange Mora Companion in stainless in the tackle box and the Mora Allround 8.1 doing kitchen duty. Great knives, can't have enough of them.
