I have to say for me it was the Spyderco Military. I don't think you can find a better edc folder for the money. It came razor sharp with high quality steel. I thought I wouldn't like something with that knife and I havent found one flaw yet.

How many knives do you own? I am content for a little bit and then, oh look that is new.............

I own probably 3k worth of knives. I always find something to nit pick about with each knife I own. The spyderco military is the only knife in my whole collection that haven't had one bad thing to say about it. And... I'm picky as hell lol.

I don't think I've ever owned a knife that I could say I was content with.

The closest to content I've ever gotten might have been with my Microtech Hawk. I still had a few issues with it, however. Its clip placement makes it carry too high. The handle taper is a feature that seems to have been done with good intentions but it makes use uncomfortable. Lastly I didn't care for the swedge as far as appearances go.

Camillus CUDA EDC, way back when.

It wasn't expensive, not fancy, no heavy performer. But for what I paid, and how much I enjoyed the knife at the time, I was most content.

BM CQC7 was the same. It was exactly what I was after at the time, for the price I wanted to pay. Performed better than I'd hoped.

Spyderco Baby Jess Horn in white micarta. From the time I pulled it from the box... just adored it.

Funny, for how content I was with these pieces, I don't have any of them any more... and I wish I had all of them back.

I've got a difficult time pulling a new knife out of a box and having it at the level I require.
Centering, pivot adjustment, sharpness, edge bevel, etc, all need to be near perfection before I'll be comfortable.
I received a ZT0452CF that met or exceeded all of those requirements and even after carrying and using it for close to a month now I haven't even needed to adjust the pivot! Still no play just as it was when delivered.
I wish all my knives were that simple, just had to ship my first return ever this week on a very reputable custom that had too many issues to keep. I've owned hundreds of folders and I know what happens when there's something that bugs me about it. It goes in the storage case and there it sits till I decide to sell it off at a loss because of its flaws. No more. It goes back to the dealer.

Hope I didn't derail? I'm assuming you wanted us to expound asking us a question.
And congrats on the Millie! My next one will be the CF/Ti/S90V exclusive.

Mine is the Case/Bose 2014 Lockback Wharncliffe Whittler. I knew some had issues with theirs but it had everything I wanted for my daily pocket knife. I ordered the ebony and got a winner.

It might be the last knife I buy!

I have to say of all the knives I've purchased, the two that have consistently made it into my pocket almost every day for EDC are my Benchmade Rift and my Spyderco Native 5 FRN. I thought long and hard just now, and I can't think of anything on either knife that bothers me. Knives that have stuff that bother me usually end up going away, thus why I recently pared my collection down to 5 total knives and 1 multi-tool.

This knife was purchased on an online auction where it wasn't described very well and the picture was dark and blurry .
I bid and forgot about it , got notified a week later I'd got it .
The postage cost more than the knife .
I don't carry it anymore , but I'll never sell it and of all my knives it gives me the most satisfaction both when I occasionally use it and when I think of how I acquired it .

honestly the knife I actually feel I got the most for my money and just impresses me every time I use it is the carson tech lab boiling flipper. I wasnt expecting half the knife I got. Its on a whole different level. And for a chinese knife it boggles my mind.

My Benchmade 520 Presidio--------basically cured my acquisition disorder ----bought it 2006 and have only started buying a few blades in the last year----mainly to get something smaller and lighter (sheeple friendly) for work----that sparked me to get a few more to try something different.

I have three knives in my folding knife collection that will never be sold:

- My large carbon fiber Insingo Sebenza 21. A beautiful, perfect knife.
- My Umnumzaan that was customized by my bud (and pimping services provider here) Zeta33.
- My ZT 0562 CF/M390

These are flat out, hands down the best knives I've ever owned, and I own many more besides these three that I enjoy for this or that reason. But these three, they're my favorites.

I have to say it was my fifth or sixth knife. A Spyderco Stretch VG-10 followed closely by a Pacific Salt or a 940 or a 710 or a PM 2 or a........aargh!!

For me, I am most content with knives like the entry level Kershaws and SOGs. You get a ton of knife goodness for $20 or whatever. Lots of knife pleasure without the guilt of dropping $400. I love knives up and down the food chain, but entry level Kershaws really do it for me more than any other knives.

Kershaw Shuffle. $15.39 shipped.

Power, just picked up the purple/blackwash Shuffle yesterday! I have the one you pictured also. They are great little knives, that's for sure.

Have more then a few knives;) but always loved my AFCK 800S. Even had a custom deep carry clip put on it.
(tip-up of course :D)

I've been content with every knife I've bought. If I expect less from whatever brand I'm buying and it turns out better than I expected, I'm content with it.
