Most content knife buy ever?

Hands Down the Benchmade AFO 9052 automatic. The finest knife I have ever owned. worth every single penny. The second but equal in my love for it it the Chris Reeve Green Beret, a beautifully made perfect knife.

I was completely content with my Benchmade 580... Then I discovered this forum. lol

I'd have to say the Spyderco Caly 3 in G-10.

It's the only knife that I didn't find anything wrong with. It's perfect.

Well, I'd have to say for a fixed blade it would have to be my Gil Hibben Custom 4" Hunter with Sambar Stag handle and textured bras buttcap. Every aspect of this knife is perfect, from the filework on the back of the blade and guard to the custom leather sheath. It's a bit heavy in hand, but worth every penny I paid for it...I'd gladly buy it again.

For a folder it would be a Spyderco Vallotton. I really like the look of the polished G10 scales on this knife, and the fact that they are not simply flat but actually fit and fill the palm unlike a lot of other knives from this manufacturer. Great edge, and the double grind on the tip make this the sharpest straight out of the box folder I've ever owned.

honestly the knife I actually feel I got the most for my money and just impresses me every time I use it is the carson tech lab boiling flipper. I wasnt expecting half the knife I got. Its on a whole different level. And for a chinese knife it boggles my mind.
Tell me more about this knife. I ve got a single Kizer that has impressed me at half the ptoce of this one. How does this Carson Tech compare to a Kizer?

Camillus CUDA EDC, way back when.

It wasn't expensive, not fancy, no heavy performer. But for what I paid, and how much I enjoyed the knife at the time, I was most content.

BM CQC7 was the same. It was exactly what I was after at the time, for the price I wanted to pay. Performed better than I'd hoped.

Spyderco Baby Jess Horn in white micarta. From the time I pulled it from the box... just adored it.

Funny, for how content I was with these pieces, I don't have any of them any more... and I wish I had all of them back.

So we meet again... haha!

I agree with the OP I was super happy with my first Military. I used the heck out of that knife, I was stripping wire, trimming drywall, breaking down double walled cardboard, and the knife just seemed like the best all around.
I did really enjoy my first Emerson though, it was a trip, the CQC 7, with the chisel grind it was odd at first, but it grew on me right away. Then the Horseman, being a small knife it was just about perfect and used one of those for a while.
It's impossible for me to pick a favorite anymore. I own so many different knives that they are all cool in their own way and I miss the ones that got away.

I agree. I bought my dad a 3.5 and inherited it when he died. Gave my 3 to a buddy and never have liked the 3.5 as much.

strider SMF
ZT0562cf
ZT0900
Kershaw Launch 1

I used to have 50+ knives and a tall glass case to store them in and now im down to 4 knives minus gifted blades that I would never part with. These 4 represent what I like the most in my knives :) CPM 154 in both the SMF and Launch 1, gets crazy sharp so easily. S35VN in the 0900 for a smaller yet still strong folder, and my steel snob fix with 204p in the 0562cf :)

The one im most content with would probably have to be my Benchmade 477-1 the Large emissary with the aqua scales. It's size is perfect for me, the scales are classy as fuck and the speed is just a plus. the moment I pulled it out of the box I was in love. I've considered buying another one just in case they become discontinued, I lose this one or both.

I have to say that the ZT0392 and the 0392BWBRZ are the knives that I'm most content with.

I've been looking at these for quite a while. They are really eye-candy. I may have to step up and find one.

I agree with Rev Devil a lot...His quote..."It's impossible for me to pick a favorite anymore. I own so many different knives that they are all cool in their own way and I miss the ones that got away."

I tend to give a lot of them away, mostly to law enforcement and deployed military. I have a lot of fun doing that. Gave away a nice Benchmade and PM2 yesterday to some young cops. They generally have no money, and with a family, they carry mostly junk knives which are more dangerous than useful.
Right now, my favorite is my Brad Southard AVO. It does what I want, and I've been using it all of this year. I have other nice stuff, CRK's, Burke Rockstar, SMF, Gareth Bull, lots of favorite Spyderco models...and get 'em out and play with them sometimes.

I'm a low budget type of guy. More user than collector, so you can guess what that means for my budget :-)

1. Rat2 for an EDC. Form and carry factor is great and for the money I think the quality is good.
2. KA-BAR 1219 for a fixed blade. A vet picked it up for me while he was active. The classic style just speaks to me. The history behind that line is part of the attraction as well. I know there are stronger, better, and purpose designed fixed blades out there. Somehow I don't think they will make me smile the way my KA-BAR does. As a gen purpose fixed blade... it checks the box nicely.
