You get one entry if you have ever gotten wood...

Every time you get wood after June 7th....

Mark, you tempt me! ;)

Seriously, I ordered one of the $40 boxes of second-quality blocks a couple of weeks ago. After seeing the "seconds", I've got to get some of your first-run stuff!

I got 3 sets of walnut scales from you and just won maple burl & redwood burl blocks. It is all awesome stuff to look at.

Hello Mark,

Great idea and thank you for the opportunity! I've used a number of your blocks of fantastic wood. First time was your give away to folks trying out your wood. You sent me an incredible piece of spalted maple. Most recent purchase was about 5 blocks at the Pasadena Knife Show.

All excellent quality backed by top notch service! Count me in...

I got wood (Walnut) from Burl Source on the "Beginner Wood" deal. I am getting ready to use it on my next knife. So I'm in...

I received some redwood burl scales in one of the beginning knifemaker packs. They were beautiful and I tried to used them on my titanium knife, but just couldn't solve certain problems getting the recessed cavity to be the same shape as the pieces. Mostly I need blocks, such as the one pictured this week, as I tend to prefer hidden tang knives.

I ordered a redwood scale set from Burl Source. I also won a block. The scales are going on a rehandle knife I own the other is still up for grabs as to what it goes on. So thanks Burl for the wood and the drawings....

I have some spalted ash and some redwood burl. It seems like every time I intend to use them I feel like the blade I made isn't quite good enough to warrant some of Mark's wood. So I've only used one piece so far - and it isn't even the best piece.

This is an entry I am adding for Tom Lewis.
He played a big part with his information and encouragement when I was just getting started stabilizing and cutting knife handle wood.

Thanks for the opportunity. I purchased a beautiful set of buckeye scales, which currently sit on a skinner blank forged out by Gerry Drew! It turned out awesome. I'll try and get some picks up if I can.

I've got a beginner's set of blocks - redwood burl, maple burl and claro walnut.

I'm In.

I was one of the lucky original Test Wood recipients. I got a Buckeye block large enough for two bowie sized blocks once split in half. I used the first half for a chefs knife that was a christmas gift to my brother-in-law.

Haven't got to the second piece yet but I've got some Ironwood, Maple, and English walnut on the way.

I bought stabilized maple and buck eye, great prices for nice pieces. Hard to get in north of Sweden... Redwood is a favorite of mine when it comes to American wood.
