He's starting to pop up in the GBU a little too often these days....and not in a good way....

I think a lot of people gave him a bit of a pass last time, but ignore list it is.

Be interesting to know how many of the "bad" threads in GB&U were started about, and found consensus over, someone with a 100% rating.

Searching his name here in the GB&U would have showed all you need to know. We can't make itrader something it isn't. We also can't stop people from letting themselves get screwed. If you can't take the time to read the rules here, take a stroll around and get a feel for the place, and figure out the wonderful resource the GB&U is, you only have yourself to blame. Common sense should be common. itrader can't help with that.

My point, of course, isn't that checking GBU is a bad idea, it is that iTrader, as currently required to be used, gives an incomplete and dangerously misleading picture.

And my point is that if you use itrader foolishly like it is your only resource, this sort of stuff happens. Hang out a bit. See what the forum is like. Get a feel for the place. Don't just buy, sell, and trade straight away. The GB&U is right there in the exchange. In the exchange rules it also clearly directs one to the GB&U. This isn't ebay. The feedback system isn't the same. People should really read the rules they agree to follow.

Very disconcerting to read.. he did a tremendous job on a Shirogorov for me.
He did just post up about 7 or 8 newly finished knives on IG this evening.

Didn't Dustin Turpin engage in similar behavior while he was blowing off the OP in that particular thread? Instagram sales coupled with refusal to make direct contact to OP or his other customers who paid for a spot in his book?

Unfortunately, fleabay's feedback system draws a heavy vacuum as well. A seller can only leave positive feedback or no feedback. No way to indicate that a buyer is slow pay, etc.

On the buyer side, the feed back is nearly worthless as well. Sellers begging for "5 star ratings only" because fleabay penalizes sellers for having just about anything below 5 star by charging extra fees for low ratings. I've been the recipient of email ass chewings for leaving a 3 star rating on communication and/or speed of shipping by the seller. I just have a problem leaving a 5 star communication rating on someone who never provides a tracking numbers, never even leaves an ebay message saying the item shipped or leaving a 5 star rating on speed of shipping when, again no indication of when an item was shipped because of no tracking number, or when a shipper finally does ship, but only after being ASKED about shipping status a week or so down the road and THEN a tracking number is provides which shows the package was finally dropped of at the PO.

I have also written fleabay feedback that they need a 5th category specifically related to packaging. I would love to be able to 1 star an idiot who ships ANY knife in an envelope or a sheath less fixed blade loose in a box with no blade covering at all.

I did one transaction with him last year for a ZT 0562 cf and one of his custom scales. And he was prompt to communicate and deliver it. That's all I can say from my personal experience. I hope the OP gets this sorted out properly though.

Kilo I emailed you everyday for the last 4 days and nothing back from you. I just send you a pm. Please respond to that so I can get this dodo out to you

Have I made mistakes and delayed or late. Absolutely. Am I trying to scam anyone. Absolutely not.
I'm very sorry for the delay. There are lots of reason for the delays but there's no excuse.
I'm trying to fix any and all issues.
I went through and replied to all my emails both on my phone and computer.

Kilo respond to my pm so we can handle this

I dealt with ShepardCC just once. It turned out better than what I'm reading here, but know that ShepardCC has been on my "Ignore List" ever since, and will stay there.

Don't get me wrong. I didn't bring ebay feedback up to illustrate a good feedback system. The flaws there are everything you say. I like our system here better. My point is that itrader is one data point someone with common sense should use to determine the viability of entering into a transaction with someone. Other things to consider are the threads here. Always search here before you buy, sell, or trade with anyone. Further, if a member is not contributing in some other ways here, IE just here to buy-sell-trade, they don't really have vested interest in being here. A little red flag should go up.

The idea that itrader should save people from bad transactions is misguided.

Kilo respond to my pm so we can handle this

I think at this (exceedingly) late stage of the game full transparency might be in order. I would not blame Kilo one bit if he did not want to carry on in PM or any other direct/private messaging.

Mr. Y.,

I received no mail or pm of you, there were and are no messages in the mailbox or in the spam filter !!!
Do you really think that I'm doing this because I'm bored ???

And yes we can handle this, send the Spyderco CF Dodo or my Spyderco CF Pm 2 to my address, you received mails from me with my address on June 27 and 29 !!

It's amazing how people's email stops working properly when they owe someone money or products yet it works perfectly when they're getting paid in advance...

Kilo I emailed you and sent you a personal message here on the boards and still nothing in return. Please send me a personal message so I can get this mailed out to you.

Out to lunch. Will go home after and get the Dodo and ship it out after I eat. Will have tracking in an hour of so
