Hey ShepardCC, I don't know you and I am simply an outside observer. But there are some people (many of whom have you "ignored") who are all sharing the same kinds of horror stories in dealing with you. If you are truly doing things in an upright and legitimate manner, perhaps there is something going on that you may not be aware of. I, for one, have an abrasive personality. I do. I accidentally offend and upset people constantly. I am hard to get along with. But knowing those things only helps me. Self-examination and introspection is a good thing and in my experience, when there are a lot of people with bad things to say about someone, that someone may have just done something to deserve it; usually =] Again, I don't know you, I just wanted to relay that this thread has included many others and not just the OP. Take it for what it's worth and ignore it if you must!
Yea I definitely have a strong personality and I don't get along with everyone. However I would never scam anyone or hurt them on purpose.
and to craytab. I didn't defraud paypal. This has become a witch hunt because people are just posting random hate without facts to what they are talking about. Getting off topic. This was a trade deal! One knife for another knife. Has nothing to do with my business or my scale work. It has nothing to do with PayPal nor was any money exchanged.
I posted knives in the trade section and he emailed me.
His knife was shipped out two hours after he finally replied to me with his shipping address. He has two addresses and I wanted to make sure it went to the one he was at. One is here in the states and one is out of the country.
I posted the tracking number here as well as emailing it and pming it to him. His knife should be there saturday according to the receipt.
If you take paypal gift when it is not a gift you are cheating paypal. You didn't just post a tracking number you posted his name and address. You have had multiple issues with your business. These are facts. Now you are defending all that you have done. Good luck with the rest of your time here. On ignore you will go.
Maybe I'm missing something but as far as Shepard cc posting the guys info , I read it that both parties tried communicating and emails or pm's weren't received if that's the case I understand why he would post where he sent it . Posting out of spite would be a dick move but basically the dude is on blade forums trial here trying to save his rear ,at least that's how I see it .
Everybody's free to ignore him and move on and this thread is a permanent record for Shepard . He can either use it to get better or it can be his downfall . Guess I believe in giving folks a chance I mean he's not ducking and dodging or hiding now and he does seem to be trying to make things right . Mistakes or not along the way at least he didn't take money or knives and run. Like I said I don't know the guy , and yes he may of made a mistake or 2 but he is making an effort to right it ..

I was notified of this thread. Tried contacting the trade partner for his address.
I received it today after 2 pm attempts. I have handled the situation and made good on my end of the trade.
Knife will be there Sat. according to the tracking.

Im done responding to this thread. Everything I say is used against me and doesn't nothing to solve the issue that is already solved. Issue was I didn't know what address to ship to and emails weren't being received. I pmed him. Got his address. Shipped the item. Fixed.

I think stepping away from the thread for a bit is a good idea. Keep your cool. I had scales from you made awhile back, great communication, excellent work, fast shipment, and reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to work with you again.

I can only repeat, as Mr. Yakush my knife had not worked communicating properly and quickly, then practically no reaction either via mail or pm on BF until he had my knife.
So it seems like it was unfortunately necessary to go public, me it would have been better if everything had worked smoothly, and I have always given the same shipping address.

Maybe you missed it- ShepardCC had peoples knives, missed promised turn around times and was unresponsive to numerous attempts for updates or information. It took 2 back to back threads in GBU to get a response and action on his part.
Regardless of the claimed email problems- Customers knives were sitting on your work bench and you weren't getting the work done or updating the customers.

A thought- When you receive a Customers knife put an entry in your calendar at the promised delivery date. If that promised delivery date comes and the work isn't finished- update the customer about the knifes status with a new delivery date. You are correct. I guess sometimes people do not fully grasp a sarcastic comment; which is understandable. So, to clear it up for those that did not get it................Shepardcc is a full of little doggie doo, and did nothing until the OP called him out. He has past examples of similar problems and I will never do business with him.
At this point, let's leave things to simmer a bit. The only people that need to post anything are the 2 involved, we don't need a lynch mob. No more random comments like post 93 or anything like that. Let the folks involved work it out, if not then we'll lock this down.

No matter what you say in this thread it's not going to work out in your favor . Per our conversation I would take a chance with you for some scales in the future. Best advice I can give you is just give folks a reason to make a good thread about you from now on .

Look at VCM as an example - he made many disparaging remarks about Bladeforums and forum members and it has cost him a lot of business. He didn't make a bad deal, but his statements and actions reflected poorly upon him and harmed how he and his business are percieved by potential customers.
I'm not involved in this and have no way of knowing the absolute facts of the events described, but I doubt any outside observer is going to walk away from this with an overall positive or neutral impression of you and your business. It's no cause for ruination or a witch hunt, but it is a harsh example of how much you are the face of your business no matter what the setting or circumstances happens to be.
