Go ahead and dream. The only way it would be possible is if Sal and company never mentioned what they were working on until it was done, prototyped, tested, piloted, debugged and at least one full production run was sitting on the shelf ready to go. Then the release date would be: "Now". As many threads as I see that amount to "are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet", I wouldn't blame Sal a bit if he adopted this as policy, but I think the knives would suffer from the lack of feedback.

I dread the release date,because then I will have to get off my duff and get creative and come up with a new handle and hardware and try to make this one perfect.

I still haven't scaled my S90V Mule.

And after that it's gonna need a sheath.

I can wait a month for ZDP-189 to come out.

I think you are exposing way more chieldish reaction. The fact I just state make feel you uncomfortable in some way and so you start attacking other member. For what reason?

This fan boy mentality did not make any good. Look what happen to other forums where this kind of things were wellcomed.

I am pretty sure my post may make someone uncomfortable - but why not? Get out of your cradle and meet real World. Why everything should be pink and fluffy around you?

I am unhappy that shippment got delayed. Normal customer reaction, I do not see why this is chieldish. But can you imagine your kind of replay in any real business situation.

Like Wallmart asking Sal why did not you ship yet new load on Natives and in replay instead of something reasonable, someone like you replay - "Third week of June and you are still acting like a child!".

Who is acting like a child here? It more looks like year older kid pretending to be really big boy shutting up his younger brother/sister.

I must say that Sal's post was his best guess and should NOT be taken as gospel. Spyderco did not issue a press release on this knife and its due date. No large orders were taken to sell based on this date. Sal posts this kind of information as a courtesy to the forum and nothing more.

As for the "This fan boy mentality did not make any good. Look what happen to other forums where this kind of things were wellcomed.", are you implying that peoples reactions to your posts determines if a Sub-Forum remains open or not?

I think everyone needs to take a chill pill and let some stuff go. Theres no need to start unecessary conflicts, especially ON THE INTERNET. We'll all get our mules. Some people are less patient and thats okay. Let them be. Please.

He (and I) were commenting on your childish behavior. That said, I think that the fact you continue to act this way reveals your character. You seem to want to "simply win" here without really thinking out "what's right." Your expectations are unreasonable and I originally thought your rough grasp of English might have been the reason you were simply misinterpreting the intent of Sal's posts. I really think that if you stop and re-read your posts, you will be embarrassed. I certainly would if I carried on like this.

I think the people who tried to "shut you up" were trying to do you a favor before you made a mockery of yourself. Most were trying to let you see how ridiculous you were behaving because they believed that a reasonable man would recognize how foolish this was and appreciate the check. Second, in my opinion..... you trying to badger Sal about why you have not received your Mule yet, [based on a general estimation he made of when they might be available]........ is childish and disrespectful.

So.... there you have it.
