Multiples of the same model?

I can't match ScooterG ScooterG and I sincerely thank you sir, for providing clear evidence to show my wife that I'm actually quite reasonable.

Glad to be of help. If 11 Manix variants or 7 Military variants are of use, please let me know. :D
*Also, I admire your ability to photo all of yours in the open position without them looking like Ladybugs in the picture.

Here’s what I’ve bought multiples of.

Cqc7s- 8 of them plus an HD7 plus a Kershaw Emerson cqc7 some of them I have given away and lost one or traded

On a simmilar note- 2 ZT 620s one of them was a cf but that one was stolen.

Spyderco Pikal - 3 but gave one to my filipino friend who needed a filipino knife.

Spyderco Southard - 2 of these badboys wearing nice clothes.

Hinderer Eklipse + ZT 392grnblk: Essentially the same knife from two different manufacturers.

Spyderco StreetBeats- 1 Micrata handle 1 Liteweight.

2 PM2s- A black and a digicamo s30v with satin blades.

2 Delicas and 3 Enduras- waved and zdp delica + 2 waved enduras and a ffg endura.

3 Brous Silent Soldier Neck Knives - 1 droppoint 1 wharncliffe and one Ranger model.

So yeah, I’ve owned a few multiples of the same knives. They’re often different iterations of the same knife.

After a while my taste in knives becomes pretty specific and I stop wanting to try every model that I think looks cool. I know what I want in a knife, often which style of knife I would like for each role.

I could easily see owning multiple Wayfarer 247s. There are so many different ways to get them, it’s crazy.

I have six Olamics, but I still don't have a Wayfarer or 247. At some point I suppose I'll have to rectify that.

On the topic of the thread, though, I do have three Swishes.

I have multiple Case Trappers, Stockmen and Peanuts in various colors/materials, two or three generations of Spyderco Delicas and Enduras, two identical Centofante 3 and Gayle Bradley (first model) Spydercos, two Benchmade 710's, 5 or six variations of the Benchmade Stryker, two Buck 110's and a couple of Becker BK9's. Probably a few more that I don't recall offhand.

By far my biggest multiple collection, yellow one is my wifes, the 20cv sheepsfoot is a lowish number first production and maybe the most I had spent on a knife at that time (pretty much a safe queen),
KW M390,
RitterGrip M390,
Cabelas mini,
I’ve had at least 2 more in the past, 1 lost, 1 traded for winter boots.

Multiples or identicals?

The Southard was my first grail knife, and still one of my favorites. I had to get a backup.

So you are the reason why I can't find a southard at a decent price! Lol . I really love the look of the southard, but I can't justify 250 on a knife that I can't hold before hand. Awesome collection of southards and CRK's. The large Sebenza Insigno is amazing! The southard and insigno are both grail knives to me.

A couple...

Spyderco:
P'kal
Street Beat
Reverse

ZT:
0750
0620
0630
0300
0452

As someone else noted, I'm at a point where I know what I like, so I'm inclined to have a backup for what I routinely use.

Yes, they are all "heritage" quality, so, assuming I DON'T lose or damage one, the SILs can fight over them when I'm gone!:D
