Mike,,that 121 inspired me to grab a couple of old ones off ebay to try out when I am deboning the backstrap out of my deer this coming season. They sharpened up shaving in a hurry. Am anxious to try them with that longer thinner blade.

Let us know how it works out, I agree that the blade shape is pretty good.

Well Goose,
If I were you I wouldn't stop counting just yet. I just got a package from Smokey Mountain Knife Works today and guess what? It's the long awaited second Chip flint 110 with smooth buffalo scales! Email me for the cost. It's still yours if you want it for what I paid plus shipping to you. Here's a picture in case you forgot what it looks like.

That is one fine looking 110.

Mike,,
Is the buffalo image raised above, or smooth with the scales. I gether it is only on one side??

Thanks Michael....
It's a beautiful knife.
I'm guessing there isn't one out there that has cut anything or being used as an EDC. The workmanship and overall looks is nothing but outstandng.

Hey Mike...

What is the OAL and Blade Length of that 121?

Thanks in advance...

Goose,
Sorry for the delay, but the knife was at the bottom of the storage and I was too lazy to pull it out until today! (I'm home from work resting a pulled ligament in my right hip.) Anyway, the blade on the 121 is 5 1/2" long and the overall length of the knife is 9 5/8". I'm waiting on the report from our favorite rodent on how well the 121 worked in his field test.
Mike

By the way, I just checked and the image I posted is very close to the actual size of the knife. Am I good or what?

Here's the November 2006 additions to my herd...

Regrets that my pic skills/camera aren't as defined as TLC's or Gary's...but ya get the point.

WOW:eek: :D  that's a haul...you win the lottery, put your wife to work on another job, rob...no I won't go that route:p. Great looking knives, Goose, I've have to dig around and see if I still have that 103 BR.

I was disappointed that the blade was alot thinner than the other 103s that I have. I might have made a mistake and returned it:rolleyes:. Preston
