  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

My BOTM

Arrived today! :D

Thanks Muskrat Man!

I'm pleased that you like it Mike, I can install some ironwood on that two dot drop point 112 and file the bar if you're interested (the mulberry root one). Mike is right, the others were a barehead in ironwood w/ a modified clip blade, and a yin/yang "piccaso" 110 with opposite bolsters removed in koa with snake filework. Mike's is a barehead with koa, modified clip blade and hourglass filework.
All the best MM

I just recently decided to begin collecting Buck knives. After feasting my eyes on what was available on eBay and the internet alone, I could not resist the temptations to purchase several Buck 110's, mostly Limited Editions and a couple Yellowhorse creations. When the credit card bill came and I saw the total, I like freaked out! Nobody in their right mind would spend that much money in less than a month on knives! After reading this thread I have regained my composure and realize I am NOT crazy after all! Omigosh! Another addiction??! If I ever figure out how to include a photo in these messages I will post some pics of my new collection. I had to start having them delivered to my office because my wife threatened to buy a new pair of shoes for every UPS, FEDX, or USPS box that shows up to our door!

...You are one sick dOOd Hoe3 and welcome to the Detox ward...LMBO...Well ya better get ready for the shoes because ain't no one here been able to make it through "Detox" anyway...I'm sure our "Official Greeter" ( Chickentrax )View attachment 69268 will be along shortly and he'll toss out some information on posting pictures that will help ya share your addiction with the other addicts...

Thanks Scott, I actually make them for my wife , daughter ,mother and friends. They like them as none have been sold in garage sales or given away.:p

They are plant and gazing ball stands, or in this case knife stand.
I thought I would try something diffrent for gifts on birthdays mothers day
and other special days.

They are easy to whip out in my " race car bone yard" .:D

Buck 271 Alpha Dorado 154CM - Thanks for help to Jim (wh4f) New brown leather sheath on the way thanks to Phil :)

Mav, nice pics and knives!!
Looks like the Buck fever has got its grip on you :D
Hows the BG-42, CPM154 and 154CM holding up?
Any favorite users yet?

Well I have not used the custom BG42 and most likely wont. That knife means a awful lot to me.

The Bass Pro has been used for some gardening and cutting up some boxes for the rubbish and the edge is still hair popping sharp!!

TBH I have not really used the Alpha Dorado yet.... that thing is just too damned pretty. Plus my Founders 112 is getting the most EDC time.

okay here are the few bucks i have gotten in the last while
a big thank you to everyone (rich, jim, sarah, amber, pete) for helping me acquire these

That 110 Chipflint is a stunning!

what i like is the buffalo on it is jet black , on my damascus it is more brownish with white spots and while it gives it character i guess i dont care for it as much

if you do a search on the chipflint all the guys on here that have them have taken much better pictures that really show it off
